I’m doing cymbals right now. My next goal is to play bass drum for next season. Only problem I’ve never been in band before, but I’m doing well on cymbals... I think. Lol, tenors are so cool though.
It's what I love about being a father. Also I use to teach things I can talk about but I've noticed when someone gets it like really gets it pay attention to the eyes it's pretty crazy the pubils widen and there's a strange glow to the eye.
I love how no matter what they all end up smiling and having a blast, regardless of the talent! Everyone should have a set of drums to cheer them up on bad days, it works!
Love the inclusive nature of drummers everywhere , nice to see you pros being so positive and helpful one of the greatest lessons I've learned, is the rest of the world and politicians everywhere pay heed how drummers treat people is how we all should treat people. Thanks

Great video!! I'm now 48. 49 in June and I have always wanted to play the drums ever since I was a kid. Went to Nashville for my 20th wedding anniversary. Went to the Grand Ole Opry and saw a pair sticks with Sara and Stripes painted on them and decided you know what I'm going to try to teach myself to play the drums

this is BY FAR the best drum video I've ever seen. It isn't like a monster drum cover or a awesome drum lesson, but it got me thinking about playing drums like never before. I've aways played with drumsticks in my thighs, but now I feel like drums can be really joyfull while I'm learning how to play. Even though I can't afford a kit right now, one day I'll be a drummer, for sure.
This is an amazing fun video. Honestly amazing. A lot of us, not to say almost EVERY SINGLE ONE of us look up to UA-camrs or professional drummers and while we find inspiration, at the same time we are met with frustration with ourselves. A lot of times feeling we're not progressing, we're not very good, etc. And then seeing this people who can't play at all (but for sure must be very talented at what they do) gives a whole new perspective on what you can and can't do and makes you think "Ok, I can do this. That's the base. I should go slolwy from there".
