I totally agree a generic remap will work but its definitely best to get a dyno remap with a printout and not ones that push the turbo to hard low in the rev range as it will not only strain the turbo it will most certainly not do your clutch or dsg gear box much good
Many remaps claim these head line figures but unless its on a dyno rolling road its not worth allways accurate a friend of mine had a audi a5 3.0tdi it had a stage one remap and egr and dpf delete all generic claimed it was around 300bhp mark he went to a rolling road and it was only running 270
What's your thoughts on Eco Remaps? I have a Suzuki DDIS and was thinking of getting a Eco remap from 75bhp to 95bhp 190Nm to 230nm, nothing crazy, will definitely be getting the timing chain replaced for peace or mind and extra servicing
Sorry about that it was unintentional, the compression I used changed the audio stream but did make it a little cleaner. I wanted to get rid of the loud intro and just watching me on a white wall was a bit boring. I'll be redoing this video properly soon - this was just a quick fix but turned out to be more of a sticking plaster! Have you been ok? Not heard from you in a while.
@@torquecars I use a software called "HandBrake" for compression, it does change say an mp4 file to mp4v but works very well, can adjust how you want ofc, might be good if you persistently get the audio squeeze. and yeah has been a while, life's been a tad busy and problematic, even the car recently, bearings issue plus discs so about £600 of repairs D: see I've missed quite a few videos and time off the forums ehe
Sorry to hear that my friend, hope you get through it without too much hassle. I've had Covid Myself so I've not actually recorded anything new for 4 weeks, just burning through my backlog so far. Hopefully I'll be back to it very soon I only have a few weeks ahead sorted now. I'll look into Handbrake it seems pretty comprehensive. I tried something in VSDC and Audacity this time around, but I think mp3 vbr and cbr got crossed somewhere and the video and audio didn't match up, hence all the b roll.

I think they are a really good conservative option. They don't push things to far but usually make quite a difference to the way the car drives.
Very informative video cheers mate
Thanks for the support and encouragement my friend.
Can tell you've sped up your voice here, prefer original, but thanks for the video, I look to get mine remapped in a few :)
