I have a 2018 Tucson SEL. I've been checking out the Palisade for a while. A family member has one. It rides very well.

Correct. If you get the 10" touchscreen, no Apple CarPlay.

Thanks a lot. Yes in the current Palisades models the only way to get the 8 seats is to go premium, or get the SE model.
Hey Miguel, Do they have a package that has more than just two adjustment for the passenger seat. I have an XT5 and that was one of the big features that my wife loves being she is a little on the not so tall side. It has 8-10 way seating

Am very disappointed the park assist is not available on the Palisade. Any chance they might add it to the 2022 or 2023. I want to buy one soon but don't want to lose room and go to the Santa Fe. Also, no fog lights. Do the lights come down low enough to not need them? Love your videos. You're awesome!
Love your videos! My dad just purchased a 21’ sonata after watching your videos and I’m considering a palisade. My current vehicle has built in wifi, do you have any suggestions for the palisade? Everyone suggests hot spot but that won’t work for us. That is the only drawback I have on the palisade. Thank you!

Good job man. I have a question for you. I have a 2021 Santa Fe and Palisade. I love my cars, however I have some issues with the APPLE CAR. In some areas, the Apple Car is connected and suddenly disconnects and it is impossible to reconnect. I don't know if it's a 5G problem. What do you think?
Also, if my wife and I go in the car, the apple car goes crazy and tries to connect from both phones. We use the phone projection but I don't know if it is a problem in the area or the 5G

Sounds very weird and it shouldn't just drop phone connection. Id first make a service appointment to see if they can troubleshoot it

No, Limited and Calligraphy have the 360 camera

Premium and higher packages have the electric 3rd row but anything less than premium won't have it.

Not yet but they will release more technical details later this year.
Nice review. What if an adult is sitting waiting for an adult out shopping. Would the car sensor still go off detecting movement? Can you turn it off?
If the car is running nothing happens. You would have to check the settings to see if you can deactivate it, but if you can, it would defeat the entire purpose of the features.
I thought you could get the second row sunroof in the SEL trim but it doesn’t look like it. What’s the first trim that you can get that sunroof in?
The first level that brings the glass roof in back is the Palisade Limited.
Does the SE comes with LED headlights?
Hi Miguel. I know this is for a 2021, but did much change for 2022? I’m looking to get a 2022 SEL with Convenience and Premium packages. There aren’t many detailed videos on a 2022 SEL out there like yours. I wish I could buy from you, you do such a great job at reviewing cars.
The 2022s are basically the same feature wise.

To me having ventilated seats is just like having a cherry on top of a cupcake. Its not necessary, but it definitely makes it more luxurious.

So aggravating that my 20 SEL with convenience and premium packages didn’t get the larger infotainment that comes in the 21.
The larger screen in 21 only comes on SEL Premium and higher. Not SEL Convenience, so don't feel too bad.

I'd choose the Lagoon Silver, Rainforest or Steel Graphite, but you can't go wrong with any of the colors.

What does the attention level mean on the dashboard mean?
It is a program that detects when a driver may be getting tired and recommends that they should take a break.

I went to a dealership and the sale man said they all come with that convenient package included. Which doesn't make sense

I'm inches away from getting a 2021 Palisade (SEL) from my local dealership, but as you mentioned SEL models have a sunroof. The one I'm looking at doesn't. Did the dealership get the trim wrong or is that another package of the SEL?
If the Palisade has a regular key and no sunroof, it's an SE. The standard SEL will have a smart key, electric drivers seat, blindspot alert on the mirrors. The only way the SEL won't have a sunroof is if it's a 2020 and not a 2021.

What’s the difference between SE and SEL
From the SE to the SEL you gain the smart key, push button start, different wheel design, blind spot sensors, electric drivers seat, captains chairs for the middle row, and dual A/C mainly.

Have you ever thought about doing videos breaking down the interior colors and features, I find that Hyundai has such unique color variations between leather and cloth and the combo's it would be great to be able to see them defined for interested owners.

Why go through all the packages and not talk about pricing?
Two reasons. One, incentives change every month for different regions and many people think incentivised price is the same as MSRP. Two, no matter what I say, trolls will say "I can find it cheaper somewhere else" or "(insert brand) is less expensive than Hyundai". So to avoid that, I recommend people go to Hyundaiusa.com and build one so they can see a more accurate price of the package they want.

Living in Florida myself, I'll tell you not everyone likes leather. Sometimes people just want the space and cool features.
@@MiguelMyCarGuy what does living in Florida have to do with leather seats? Maybe it gets hot but so does everywhere else. Cooled seats should fix that problem. The maintenance on cloth seats is not worth it. 3rd row SUV usually means kids are in it. Kids usually lead to accidents and occasional messes. Leather should be standard
Leather is nice to have I was saying a lot of people in Florida don't necessarily want/need leather because it gets hot. Leather in a hot car can burn exposed skin, and for that reason its not the priority it used to be for some people.
