    The C-295 is a extremly efficient plane in terms of capabilities versus cost. Aditionaly it can be manufactured with a lot of configurarions, making it a very flexible flying platform.

    Didn't expect to see indonesia and spain covered here! Thank you for this video ❤️
    Unfortunately PT. DI still struggle to certificate and sell N-219 so i expect them to focus on this type first before going for N-245 or N-270. There is also a project simmilar to N-270 from a private company called R-80. R-80 is a project from PT. Regio Aviasi Indonesia to become successor of N-250. I heard this program for the first time around 2016-2017 but i didn't here too much progress from this project today.
    I hope you can cover N-250 sometimes in the future! N-250 is extremely revolutionary for indonesia since it is the first aircraft that indonesia make without assistance from foreign countries. N-250 itself is also quite revolutionary because it use fly-by-wire for a regional aircraft and use some kind of CAD to speed up the development.

    You've forgoten the grandpa: CASA 212 Aviojet. Indonesia bought a big ammount of these Aviocar planes. That's why Nurtanio become a partnet with CASA. They were very interested in a bigger plane. Indonesia has a large amount of isles, and other places difficult for bigger planes. France, Turkey or South Korea's Air Forces have more planes than Spanish Air force.

    • @Chimpunk729
      @Chimpunk729 Рік тому

      Yes and now CASA has remove their production facility to Indonesia. So IPTN (Now PT DI) can produce the plane called C 212i and the local derivatives N 219. Ironically Indonesia "failed" to develop further their version of CN 235, ended at CN 235 - 220 but succeded create diverse function including Maritime Patrol (MPA). Next plan is to have C 295 AEW&C version and develop it locally.

    It was due to the nighmarish hangover from the democratization in Indonesia precursored by the cathastrophic economic crises between 1997-early 2000, Indonesian aviation industry was heavily downgraded; had that not taken place, the N-250 would have been filling the commercial niche for 50-pax plane, years ahead before the ATRs.

    Hehehe Here In Colombia we do some "modifications" on a pair of C-235 with a lot of ELTA/IAI equips... Sadly one gone down killing 11... The other one, is now the Head of Electronic warfare and SIGINT of the "Fuerza Aérea de Colombia" FAC (Colombian Air Force).

    Can anyone tell me whether the RISE engines would suit well these aircrafts?

    For some reason, unforeseen serious operational issues have arisen with the RCAF Kingfishers. So much so, that they will not be operational until 2025. Not much information has been released about what is the issue. It has been noted that SAR techs taller than 5’10” have a difficult time moving in the cabin.

    C-212, CN-235, C-295
    The backbone of Indonesian Air Force transport fleet ( along with C-130 Hercules ) 👌👌
    As an Indonesian, i want to feel proud about this series of aircraft but i just couldnt. Let me explain about the condition of aviation industry in Indonesia.
    PT.DI ( previously IPTN ) is not good. If you buy plane from PT.DI, they will 100% late on fulfilling the order.
    The only reason why they are not bankrupt yet is because they are a state owned entity/corporation ( Badan Usaha Milik Negara/BUMN ).
    So if they are late on delivering the order and got fined/penalties for that, or when they are in deep financial crisis, they can always ask the government for taxpayers money to bail them out.
    Average Indonesian dont know this, sadly. They only care about " Bangga Buatan Indonesia " ( " Proud Made in Indonesia " ), but they are ignorant about the shady shits behind it. The government are no different, they always demand that we have 100% self sustainability on technology, but they dont know that these things takes a lot of time and massive amount of financial resources ( which they never give ) and political willingness ( which they never have ).

      did you even read your own post abdilah? You said pt di cared little about fullfiling orders in time coz they can always ask money from goverment but at same sentence you said the goverment dont bother to finance nor have political will finance, WHICH ONE IS CORRECT? Are you stvvpid? 😂😂😂😂

    • @Acle1034
      @Acle1034 Рік тому

      2 of them are correct, due to rampant corruption the goverment transfered most of the funding to KAI instead of PTDI as the Train market is far more profitable, instead of the aircraft market.
