Amazing concept. Thanks so much!
Great alternative to dry fire practice! Also a good way to practice reloads and reacquiring the target under stress.
I'm surprised nobody is selling hot glue bullets for folks like me who do not cast bullets.
+Benedict Benito There is a commercial product that uses plastic bullets

There are also cowboy action cases setup to use wax or rubber bullets that use shotgun primers so you can prime them by hand.

+Gun&ShotTV I forgot about those! I might go ahead and get a mold anyway and see if it would work in 9mm too.
have you tri a shot primer not sure if it fit but they use it for 45 long colt
I “invented “ these recently after a messy bout with making wax bullets. Then discovered that I wasn’t the first to discover this.
Glow in the dark glue is pretty cool also.
I started this for black powder revolvers, but the caps don’t really have enough ummphh.
But I have had great success with 45 acp, 45 gap, and 9mm. I used rifle primers in unmodified cases.
I also got a 450 bushmaster to fire one, but it was very low power. Stopped by a trash bag.
Of course they don’t cycle.
50 cal works great with 209 primer in my muzzle loader.
Ready for a chronograph and meat target test now.
I’m curious how the would fare with black powder or smokeless loads.
They don’t show wear, just a little soot, so fouling isn’t going to be a huge issue.
I also discovered crayola round pencil erasers fit my 50cal muzzle loader. Must be cleaned 2-3 shots or they stick in the barrel.
Sometimes the end blows out and leaves most in the barrel. So checking for obstruction between shots is a must.
Still cool for plinking indoors.
I need to get a glue gun and try this instead of using wax, but I wonder if you add a light charge of powder like HP-38 to it to get the hot 44 mag loads out of the 38 special if got to try this one.
Cool sub
Can I do this with a s&w m&p 40. ? And how do u get them to fire exactly without black powder
How's your barrel after a few of those? gummy, gunky et cetery. Wouldn't it be better to actually cast harder plastic bullets?
The glue doesn't leave anything in a clean barrel. If the barrel is dirty it can cause issues.
I've tried watching your videos. but the audio is always soft and tinny. Wish I could hear what you're saying better.
Sorry about that, my initial videos were recorded on a Flip camera that didn't have the best mic and YT seems to drop the volume on uploaded vids. I have been able to increase the gain on all my recent videos which should make them easier to hear. Thanks for watching.
make em use a 209primer - works much much better
I haven't had any issues with standard primers and glue stick bullets. Now if you were using .45 or .44 brass you may need the extra oomph of the 209
i run with 209s std CFD and they do get more accurate than using std primers but hey if it works dont change :)
Turned off because of VERY LOW VOLUME...
