Pls Chris, can you help me to secure unskilled job in brunei? I love to work there, because it's so peaceful and cool country...and I can also work for you for some update, I can work in an hotel or any company...pls Chris
Hi Chris, a Bruneian here. Thank you for bringing your always positive perspective in the visit to Brunei. Indeed Brunei is not like Dubai or other rapidly growing metropolitan countries but we are proud of our culture, heritage and way of living. Thank you for being so respectful and kind. Wishing you the best and we hope to see you again. And if you do decide to visit again, let us know early :)
im from france, really nice to see such new horizons. thank you also for not doing as many other youtubers who say bad things about brunei just bcs it doesnt have the same moral values as them.
Hi Chris I live south from Brunei in a place called Kuching. Still in borneo. Bruneians are educated and able to converse in English so well! They are very civic concious too
Sup chris , Wand here... I hope you gonna visit Brunei again in the future.. Thanks for visiting Brunei 😁👋 Edited: also it's Wand.. Not Wayne.. That's why i say magic Wand... And maybe my pronunciation is a bit off.. A little bit of nervous in front of camera... 😅
Love this video. The sights, the happy boatman, the watervillage and those precious kids. Thanks for doin it Chris - I appriciate it. All the best to you & Gladys. ❤️🙌
Oh wow, what a place! I think you’re going to do positive things for Brunei’s tourism. You guys are braver than me, some of the boardwalk was giving me second hand anxiety! What lovely people too! Good luck to Wayne ❤
I always love it when you show the realities of how the locals live! Every place I go, that is what I came to see how their real environment and lives! Keep up all your great videos that provides so much information.
Chris … Thank you for portraying my country in a more informative content. For the time being I live in your California to experience its fast and furious pace. Believe it or not I’ve been in CA for 23 yrs and hv not bumped into another Bruneian living in CA. Hope u did enjoy what Brunei had to offer as there not many like it.
Thank u for visiting our little ciuntry chris, been watching your videos on youtube for almost a year now..and i never thought you'd come to Brunei. .Thank you!
8:40 such a cool &funny guy seriously I laughed so hard entire the conversation 😂😂 I know Brunei one of the richest country in the world but didn’t know the people are so friendly btw I’ve never seen a huge beautiful floating house in the world ThQ Chris for showing us the real life of the people 😊
As a Bruneian I’m impressed on how fluent the high schooler is in english. Back then people of his age rarely speak English fluently. I guess the age of UA-cam does help.
Hi Chris. Local here. First of all welcome to our humble country. Secondly i feel really bad because i never get to stumble upon you i swear if i were around id would definitely give assistance and tour you around. The thing about Brunei is you have to know someone to fully experience Brunei. Trust me people would take you to their homes, take you to dinner etc😂 also yes Brunei can be very quiet if you come at the wrong timing most would be in school, work etc. id suggest you to have a guide next time. Alsoooo please come back during Eid! Its the best time to be around! Now that Bruneian familiar with you. High chances Brunei would def be eager and enthusiastic to give you the best visit. Might aswell be your second home. Us here are very friendly altho not all can speak english but theyre all friendly and helpful. Another note appreciate you embrace the simplicity, difference here. As for that, would love to thank you
It's gorgeous out there. N that's a goose 🦆. The best guard there is. Keep tracking. God bless you both n keep u safe always 🙏🙏🙏🙏 in Jesus mighty name amen 🙏
Good of Wand for looking after his nephew and nieces. Ghris and Glady are strangers after all. You can see his serious demeanour before Chris puts him at ease with, I'm sure, his friendly manners as well.
Wow! I had it all wrong at fist about that local water taxi driver man. When I first heard you said he was to charge $40 for the trip, I thought that was steep but rightfully so too. What I didn't know was he meant that it was a package deal for 2 hours! That's insanely cheap actually! And that man there could handle himself in a conversation with a foreigner using a foreign language. Mad respect to him
Bro loving living the video, u ain't afraid of that walk way with out the rail no balance, shit you bin thru bro lol a rail, come on lets go!!!! Much love ❤
Brunei water villsge originally was the centre of Government The palace was there and the names reflected the people lived. If the Kampong named Bendahara Lama means the royal were the majority living there . But the villsge vanished due to fire. Its due may be of the occupants had moved on lands.
Our wettest months are usually July, but the rest of the year it's usually hot and sunny. I've never lived Kg Ayer but I have relatives who do and we mostly visit and stay with them during school holidays. But, most have moved inland so no chance of that anymore. If you want to experience staying there, try booking a room at Kunyit 7 Lodge. The host is a good friend of mine and she is a walking history book about Kg Ayer 😊
I would love to relocate to Brunei with my family (girlfriend and our 5 year old daughter). Can someone shed some light on the process and if it is easy to stay there? Can I get a temporary residence permit if I buy a house / apartment in Brunei? We are from Portugal.
You should probably need a working visa if you want to stay here. And can only rent a house/apartment. But i might be wrong. So best probably ask our embassy
Where is everyone….this place inspires me to make a zombie movie…..and I will name it Zombie Village…..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣🤣I love the serenity of this place..❤️❤️❤️
My man you should do a traveling video. With Gabriel Herrera. Would be nice to see a full spanish video all together. … By the way love all your vids man.
