The "apply the CC textures" when ri-clicking the downloaded blueprint doesn't show up the in the context menu as described in this video. Has something changed or moved to a different area? Ive tried this in both 5 and 5.1 the option is just not there at the bottom of the menu the way it shows up for you in the video.

Video is informative , But I have QS - Getting message "For better performance , SkinGen editor will now reset the mixer output size to 1024". Is it default or because of Low quality graphic card
yes , it is related to the GPU to have a better performance when working with SkinGen Editor cos of so many layers, but you can use 4k textures , it will bake the textures to 4k when deactivating SkinGen.

Unable to save kevin head as a metahuman with High resolution no matter what I do. I converted textures to 4k in skin editor and the source tab in the export head window even reports the textures as 4k, however only low and medium are options. Why?
I want to stick with my default import CC4 character and not import a metahuman character in pieces. So my question is, can I use metahuman materials on my CC4 character and how? I can use the eye materials inside unreal engine and they look amazing but the face skin doesn't match up the same.. help please if you know?
If you are going to apply the textures from CC, make sure you've used the 4k quality for a better result. And if you are using the original MetaHuman face textures, so be it.

typing "base skel" is a lot shorter than "Because it was the known flow, the steps were taught and the reference tutorials are on the Reallusion Courses page." anyway, base skel worked for me.
@@nobodyfamous No doubt. These guys have a real knack for this kind of thing. We will save 3 seconds on this video and our users can all eat god knows how much combined time instead.
This looks so great, but it doesn't work for me! When importing the .fbx to ue5, it crashes during the auto processing at 30%. I do follow the video 100%, so I don't think I do something wrong. One thing to note, I do not get a window pop-up that asks me to choose a shader, I get the import window instead and nothing else. Edit: Ok after experimenting a little bit it seems that the auto setup does not work with the current version of Unreal Engine, which is at this point 5.1.1. Trying out the same workflow with 5.0.3 it works like a charm.
I’ve tried both 5.1 and 5.0.3 and I am not getting the shader option either. I only get the import options. Any tips on this or did something change within the past several weeks? Thanks for the help.
The Reallusion guys simply don't reply here. If they want to sell their expensive products they should take the time to reply or turn off comments. Not nice; not enticing to spend the several thousand dollars in question.

Love this feature. Really helps with transfers but also I would like SkinGen2 soon. 8k textures and higher for face animations would be great to have.

you can actually export the metahuman to Maya, customize the body, and then export it back to unreal without loosing the metahuman rig.

You can also take the Iclone body/animation/outfits and put a metahuman head on them

I have the same problem. Put the head in, came out like a generic metahuman head\face. No real likeness at all to my sculpt.
Will the texture swap still work if I alter the shape of the default Metahuman body?

i can only export medium baked texture. i added kavin and in the skin editor i did change it to 4k

The problem seems with Keven 4. Camila 4 works but not Kevin. CC3+ avatars seem to work.

You cannot. The UV mapping is different between MH and CC4 characters.

You will need to exactly follow the steps. Make a CC MetaHuman, and then apply the full textures.

You will need to match the auto setup for the corresponding software version.

I'm not getting a new head shape mesh when I apply it. It's keeping the original metahuman head shape
