Can you clarify if the starter (that would typically be tossed out) needs to be a particular day of fermenting before turned into something else, like your pie crust or cookies? Love the idea of using that starter some how. Thank you in advance!
Another awesome one to try! Thank you! I love that we can freeze this for later use... i try not to bake a lot in the summer, so being able to use my discard daily, and make crusts to use this winter, is going to be great!! Ps what are you canning in the background?! 😃
I wish that you had made it more clear you need to double the recipe for a top and bottom crust lol, I went through the process the first time, after an hour and rereading the recipe on the site, it said to double the recipe. your video does trickery to show both crusts out of nowhere

I do not do exact measurements with my starter so hopefully it will turn out.. I’m using this for chicken pot pie 🥧
This is great! I can only do so much with my discard and throwing it out feels like such a waste but this uses a good portion.... so-

I love this recipe so much!!! I like to make things easy for me so I use a Cuisinart to mix up all the ingredients and it works great!!!
