Ron and I were in the 'John Barry 7' together. He was indeed a lovely person - a true gentleman. I never heard of his illness and death until years later. Memories of him continue to pop into my thoughts now and then. Bob Downes (Open Music)

Yes, a really lovely r'ship. l went to one of their concerts - quite delightful. No she didn't have chn. She had a dreadful car accident to recover from not long before her husband got sick. So thank God she's had these beautiful men, waiting patiently for any reunions she was prepared to do over the years. They have been touring Aust. this year, but alarmingly she is in hospital after a mild stroke. We are all hoping/praying for a full recovery.
