    FYI, you can change your wheel base and ride height by a small amount depending on where you rotate that eccentric hub. If you're looking at the bike from the kickstand side, adjust the hub to 9 O'clock would shorten the wheel base. 3 O'clock would lengthen it. 12 would lower the bike slightly. 6 would raise it. This sort of thing is important to professional racers where every millimeter of geometry change affects handling.

    • @ClutchFirst
      @ClutchFirst  5 років тому

      MotoErgoSum Just one question. When and are you ever going to upload anymore vids? You’ve got a lot of detailed information that would be very useful to share. You couldn’t have said it any better and it’s always great to see you on the channel.

    When your adjusting chain, you need to check that measurement of free play in multiple spots. It might not make sense however you’ll notice that it’s actually tighter and looser in some spots as you check slack at diff positions. Make sure your adjusting it based on those findings or replace chain

      Omar Jurado Woelz Hey, welcome to the channel and glad you found the vid helpful. Personally I wouldn’t recommend using anything else from the specific Ducati tool. Ducati’s are temperamental and if something goes wrong, it will cost you a lot. Besides, that tool is not super expensive.

    What is the stock Ring Gear number? I am looking to change it for a bigger one is it z39?

    • @ClutchFirst

      George Vizaniaris I believe the stock gearing is 14T in the front and 40T in the rear. I’ll check and confirm for you when I get a chance.

    Why don't you show the distance between chain and swingarm? I'm sure It became less then 61mm after your adjustment. When between 61 and 63 it really feels too loose, which is really confusing.
