My story (3 minute read):
I’m Hamza. I’m a normal guy who just randomly discovered the path of discipline and masculinity. I’m pretty obsessive, so I went all in.
Here’s my timeline:
13-18: Loser, video gamer, virgin
18-21: Degenerate, party boy
21-22: Anxious, depressed, and completely lost. Smoking we*d & jacking it to p*rn daily. I would watch self-help content but never take action. Just mindless consumption. Stuck in a toxic relationship with a girl from my party days. We didn’t trust each other, yet we lived together-a miserable reality when the person closest to you feels like a stranger.
22: We break up, and I move back to my parents’ house. That’s when I go all in on discipline-1 hour of meditation every day, fully committed to self-improvement. I start posting on UA-cam and hit 1,000 subscribers by December 2020. Then, I date a girl I met on Tinder-she partied and smoked we*d with other guys. That ends too, after her family accuse me of being controlling because I wanted her to stop going out with guys to parties.
23-24: Hit 3,000 subscribers by my birthday (June 10th), and everything takes off after that. Hit 50k in December 2021. My life starts scaling up-fancy gyms, international trips, and some chaotic stories along the way:
Mexico: Got caught having s*x in public and had to run from the police.
Greece: Took a waitress from my home town, I liked her-until she casually mentioned she was known in university for “hooking up with black guys.” I’m brown.
Amsterdam: Tried psyched*lics with my employees, but it hit me so hard I ended up hiding in the toilet, journaling on my phone while everyone else had a great time upstairs. I could hear them laughing.
Thailand: We*d became legalised while I was there. RIP 2 months of productivity.
Life felt big and wild, but the deeper questions about fulfilment started creeping in.
25-26: On my 25th birthday, I hit 500k subscribers. It felt like everything I’d worked for was finally paying off, and I let myself enjoy the fruits of my labor. But with success came complacency. I stopped meditating, lost discipline, and started slipping. "Pride comes before the fall" couldn’t have been more true. I hit 1 million subscribers and moved to Dubai, becoming one of those cringe materialistic influencers. My life looked perfect on the outside, but behind the scenes, I was overwhelmed with extreme stress and shitty health. By the time I hit 2 million subscribers, I was making insane amounts of money but felt purposeless and directionless. I missed the simplicity and fulfilment of the early days when life was hard but meaningful. Success didn’t taste as sweet as I’d imagined.
27: Move to Bali. Realise importance of discipline again. Get humbled in kickboxing gym daily. Already making more than enough money for my simple life. Just enjoy making vids and helping the students in my online school/brotherhood…
I don’t sell a million things-just one product: Adonis School. It’s my online school and brotherhood for young men, just like you and me. If you’ve made it this far, it’s a sign-you belong here: hamza.thriveca...
Hamza
PS. I still enjoy growing my family business. It’s fun. But I’m quite aware that chasing views and money isn’t the point of life. Now the focus is on being the best man I can be, and sharing my insights to you so you can get the lessons without the scars.
My favourite version of Hamza is when he’s talking about being positive and humble
it's crazy for me how i answered correctly when he asked what motivates people the most. it showed me how far i've really come.
Proud of you man.
to hell with the masses these long unedited guides are the best
Just wanted to say Hamza, I have never commented on your or any one elses videos ever like this before but i wanted to let you know i really resonate with the things you say on such a personal level that you have improved my life so much by giving lots of hope or reassurance in your words over the past 2 years i have been watching you. Thank you for being such a positive relatable masculine model for me.

I NEVER comment on videos. But I have too to help push this gem out to more young men. This is going to change my life. Keep doing them ❤
at about 10 mins, when you said the greatest motivation is progress, that hit me hard. I knew this but you made me more aware of it and I realized if I want motivation, I have to keep doing that thing until I make progress and then can get the ball rolling with momentum.
Didn’t think I would watch a video on how to think but here I am
Same here buddy
I didn’t think I would think about thinking of watching a video on how to think, but I thought about it and now I’m thinking how to think.
I didn’t think I would think about thinking of watching a video on how to think, but I thought about it and now I’m thinking how to think.
Don't blame yourself for the wrong you did today instead go like this
"I'm grateful for myself that I noticed the thing I did wrong today and tomorrow I won't make the same mistake" and never give up brother muuaah
Hamza, you have changed my life positively for the past 2 years. Though my progress is not as fast as others, I’m still better than I was 2 years ago. Ive been in a bad plateau for the past 3 months, but now I think that’s about to change. My mental has been at an all time low, but rewatching your videos is really helping me get through the plateau.
hey hamza first of all i wanna say thankyou for everything
I remember exactly one year ago when i joined university, I was just a weirdo, afraid of strangers, not talking to anyone, just imagining everything in my head and never taking any action. I discovered your channel about two years ago but i was just watching without taking any actions. You gave a spark of direction. I realized that i needed to change.
If you were not there maybe i would have improved myself. Now i am trying to improve myself, whenever i feel down i just think about my old self and say to myself, You have come this far and you had a worse phase of life, don't let that old self come over again.
THankyou 🙂
Hamza changed my life as I also had negative thoughts about the world and people, and if I didn’t take this journey, I would be in a more worse, negative state. So thank you hamza
My name is Siya and l am from south Africa. I have changed a lot from the past year of 2023 l went from a fat kid to now being a Guy who is attractive and building my business TRUST ME this will change your life
dude south africans are crazy amazing people to be around.
Happy birthday Hamza, hope you live long, you got me on the right path I won't let you down as, in next 10 year I'll be sitting beside you as a fellow entrepreneur, that's your gift
That was something I've never heard before. How to not cope, by saying out loud, clearly that you're about to do something bad and you're undiciplined. I will try this!
Another Hamza common W video. I always listen to these masterclasses Sundays as I deep clean and re-set my weekend to start the week aligned. I always look forward to them. Big ups to Hamza for constantly providing value.
I had one of the purest moments of enlightenment in my life in the self image part and it's still going. Something very very very deep in my subconsciousness just got poked at. Hamza legit just healed some trauma inside of me.
Hamza I love you for the direction you are currently going with your life. Keep it up!
your "How to work harder" video was so decent. ive learnt many things from it and i would like to teach them to the people that i care about.

Hello, hamza . I want to tank you for the 2 years that I've been watching you. You really changed my life from a loser to something nice 😊❤💪
Hey brother what is the main thing you learned from him ?
The ways u are making us depend on you is getting very creative. I am very grateful for knowing you from the start of the channel. U have indeed changed my life and others of my friends. I can tell you are reading many books about behaviour.
I want u guys as well to see his tricks and learn
His videos are actual great self improvement videos that made many of us go to the gym, meditation and cold showers.
I wrote this comment after i watched the video
I am very happy with you hamza u have changed many of our lifes including myself
Watching your videos was the first time I was introduced to the idea that I could actually change the trajectory of my life. When I was 15, I was addicted to porn, video games, and junk food. I was super insecure about myself and my physique, and struggled to socialize for a long time. However, listening to the confidence you had in yourself, and the advice you shared on leaving behind bad habits like the ones I indulged in seriously pushed me to change my life. I am now 17, and still on the journey to leave behind my bad habits completely, and focus on building a successful future. I have had great improvements in my physique, self-esteem, and confidence as a result of listening to your previous advice and applying it in my real life, especially when I was afraid to do so. Thank you so much Hamza, you are one of my greatest Heroes who showed me the possibility of becoming a great man like I want to be today.
the arts are very undervalued in these videos. I understand that its not everyone's cup of tea to enjoy other facets of life in order to optimise for earning money but I have gotten so much fulfillment from enjoying art (which helped my mental health) (also im in music school) while still being able to balance being productive towards my goals.
so as hamza says, take what you need and discard the rest

Solid video hamza. I think the main issue with personal brand content creators is that they don’t think enough and don’t generate enough ideas ❤
That’s what I found at the start of my creation journey. Just didn’t have enough to talk about but when you sit and think to yourself alone, you generate tonnes of ideas ❤
This is one I’ve been waiting for
Thank you hamza for being the big brother that we all need🙏
Bro, I really appreciate these videos. I've come to the realization that I am f*****d up in the head so am getting rid of the time wasters, bad habits and working towards actual achieveable goals. Its tough as hell and sometimes I get discouraged but videos like these help give me some hope. They pick me up when I'm down so i can keep moving forward.
a man’s self worth is not only determined by a strict set of values, but also the disciplined adherence to said values
Of all the guides he’s released so far this is the one with the most value for me. I know i’m capable of achieving great things, but my mind always gets in the way, this is gonna help me a lot. Great video
For the mental movie & self image he is talking about he is referring to the book psycho cybernetics and I highly recommend the book it’s crazy
Thank you so much Hamza, for the first time I unterstood what positive thinking is. God bless you 🙏🏽
I went from being suicidal 2 years ago to having no negative thoughts whatsoever.

Favorite video I've ever watched from you. The trauma part was especially life changing.
been watching you for years now you changed my life 180
Aye everyone wanted to say thank you to the tribe I respect it can't complain when I was a little boy my mother and father had plenty of interesting moments but regardless it's worth noting how stubborn all of us are the truth of the matter is that we all need Gods guidance, there's a hell of a world out right now and God improves lives along with taking accountability of your own, what I notice about black pillers is the identification with the enemy which is why Adonis is a better name for Improving looks instead of the other one who everyone hates
Brilliant message , Gods guidance is best , and most accurate!
i swear to god i'm not lying at 9:45 i said progress before i watched the video. this makes me feel even more positive bro.
I really think I need this title during my exams😅
Bro because of you i started going to the gym, thank you
Sorry for my bad english
Thank you Hamza thanks to your videos I change from being the little wierd fat videogamer to a guy that is in good shape from wearing size L to size S dosen't play videogames and very confident
The event that really made realize how much I have changed is
Like 1 month ago I was on a dance activity on my school and the prof send my and a girl to go ask for a speaker on the way I was talking with her and when we got to the door I said go ask for it and she said no I'm shy go you because you are THE confident guy
and men when she said that I wen't crazy inside my brain like I felt that the work I have been puting in for 2 year was worth it and I remember all the times my friend said the same and I felt realized.
Amazing video. I have been following you for two years, and I can confidently say that this is one of your finest works to date. Keep up the great work, bro!
knowing how to think properly is very important, as you know when you read outwitting the devil, it is really a life changing book. There among other things you will understand why you have to get rid of your toxic friends
I started watching hamza almost an year ago and his videos were the reason i started self improvement....after 4 months or so i was at the best I've ever been and then for some reason i stopped watching him...and all the progress i had made over those months felt useless because I suddenly felt like i did not even improve and all my bad habits came back to me...I felt like a loser...but we all have to keep going at every situation...and now im trying to be on my best again... And you are helping me a lot hamza!!!
the best types of videos ever I usually watch them while cooking I never get so much education and motivation after
“How to think”
I thought this was gonna be very stupid, but really it’s the best guide Hamzas ever made
My story- at fourteen years old I was a skinny, degenerate, Jeffery brained kid. I jerked off every day, I didn't study, I didn't work out, now, nine months later, my grades are up, I have a physique that I'm proud of, I'm a boxer, I journal and meditate, my depression is pretty much cured, sometimes I still have bad moments and days, Ive almost stopped fapping, I've pretty much beat out porn, and a lot more. There are a lot of people who have helped me. Goggins, Tate brothers, Noel deysel, but most of all - Hamza. More specifically, his full mental health guide from a year or two ago. Changed my life forever❤

Hamza, post a video implanting positive thoughts into peoples minds. Like 10 minutes of small progresses people have probably done today or encouragement do do them. It's gonna be harder for the newbie to implant them everyday then just to put on a video for 10 minutes. Eventually they'll do it themsleves.

Hamza, brother. I was asked to write this, because of privacy: I have been getting a good friend hooked on your videos, because he as well as me needs it. This week we’ve been working at a Festival together (12 hour shifts) and this beautiful bastard pulls the cutest girl against all odds given he’s early on in self improvement. This guy was able to be pure of heart until he hit 31 and has Yes-manned himself to great experiences all his life, enjoying them in a naive way, but has been very lucky to avoid children and has only done short time for illegally possessing g*ns. His early release terms included therapy, but he went above and beyond because your videos inspired him. I’ve never seen a victimhood mentality be so completely eradicated this fast ever. He asked me to thank you for helping him
Happy Birthday Hamza. I wouldn’t be where I was if it wasn’t for you.

The is exactly what Maxwell Maltz takis about in Psycho Cybernetics
Quitting nicotine after 10 years of use. It’s been hell to form thoughts with a brain that’s constantly dedicating a fraction of my bandwidth toward my next hit. I am deeply unhappy with the current trajectory of my current status, and I have a hunch being in the addiction mindset is a root cause of many flaws in my current system. If I could see my 14 year old self when he took that first hit, I’d tell him that if he lets the dopamine have control, he will lose $750,000 in opportunity cost. I’m sure most guys on this channel already know better, but I hope this comment contributed to at least one person getting some clarity about who they surround themselves with.
I can see old hamza back ❤️
what to do if I feel like friends aren’t right for me or my self esteem but don’t know if i’m just being a wuss and can’t take criticism or that they just do effect my self esteem by always opposing me in every conversation and disagreeing with me on absolutely everything. i feel like i don’t always know if friends want the best for me it’s hard to tell but i don’t know if im just overthinking and seeing everything as a negative. anyone with a common experience and just too arrogant to take criticism.
just to add: i’ve been journalling everyday, reading books on self esteem, self help, doing all the good habits i can and the friends/acquaintances you could say have also been on self improvement for a long time.
