  • I built a rocket last year and failed miserably. This year was different, I had a good start into 2024.
The bRocket (baby Rocket) flew 250m high with a peak velocity of approx. 500 km/h. Very happy about that result!

LOL, evidently this is how an "electronics person" enters/learns to do model rocketry. The "aerodynamics person" would know about relative locations of cg & cp but be at a loss in developing their own in-flight monitoring; which IMO is no small feat. Wonder why no 'recovery system' like parachute or streamer was tried? Even though a small rocket, streamer/s could have been included? The motor being a C6-7 had an ejection charge that separated the rocket sections. So further aerodynamic advancements might include a "stretch cord" that attaches to both (separated) sections, for easier recoverability, and a parachute or streamer to reduce falling speed.

Haha, well said. Yes, there was a parachute, but the ejection charge was too violent, ripping the chord.
