Hope this thorough assembly video helps you with your diy do it yourself project on installing your lo-ram or ultra lo-ram intake manifold assembly. The kit's are very well built and not to bad to assemble. Hopefuly this walk through helps you assemble your's and shows you how to torque it together properly, Cut and glue the gaskets, torque sequences.
The intake manifold is quite a bit heavier than the polymer one available but man does it look good, I do find it annoying that they do not include the map sensor screw in the package as well as do not include the extension harness for the wiring harness, Lastly a fitting for the factory vacuum line, i feel with those included this would be a amazing kit.

Which map sensor did you use also are you running Holley harness

Nope no holly harness needed bolted right on my vette and use vettes existing map sensor

Was there a benefit to the new intake vs stock

I find it definitely flows better, i put it on a motor i was building so i cannot accurately tell you. It accommodated the 103mm throttle body and looks much better. Also better visibilty of fuel system underneath
