Holley has this intake on back order untill next month and i need to order a intercooler core to build my own custom water to air top plentnum
Jesus yeah a buddy of mine ordered a Holley Dominator (I already have mine) But he's been waiting 5 months for it or the wore harness I can't remember thats crazy
Thanks for sharing 👌 I'm considering this intake manifold on my 280zx. Also I think a 2x4 is actually 1.5"x3.5" 🤷♂️ but still a good reference for how much height you save with this manifold!
🤣 Glad someone appreciated the 2x4 Reference I was trying like hell to think off the top of my head plus most people usually have a 2x4 piece laying around somewhere so it'll give an immediate idea lol thatll be badass what motor are you running?
@@StreetRacingLifeStyle Indeed, I’m going to start using that as a refresher now lol. It’s an L59 5.3 out of a Yukon with an S10 transmission. I got it all mounted in the car a few weeks ago but check out the channel if you want to see the progress 👌

Is there a place on the Holley to mount the PVC line that’s on top of the TBSS intake?
For the Brake booster? Yes there are half is threads in the back for a barbed fitting to go to either your brake booster or a vacuum block. There is also a smooth hole for the map sensor
How did you mount the 102mm TB to the 105mm on the ram, I found a 105mm TB but there more choices in 102mm.

The 102 bolts directly to the 105 plenom!
Its the same standard size 4 bolt pattern as all Ls2 intakes!
Can u give measurement of the opening inside the intake bolts to bolts front and side to side. Of i have them available
It's the same bolt pattern as a standard Ls2
I used a Cheap 102mm intake this has a 105mm Inlet
How are your power curves? Also how fast that turbo spooling 👀
Turbo spooled instantly with a 78/75 Gen 2 and the 5.3
What harness are you using? I’m using a standalone gen3 harness with that intake and the map sensor I got “stock 5.3lm7” the hole is too big for the sensor, do you know which map sensor I can sue that’ll fit in the manifold but also plug into stock gen3 harness?
I got the Holley Dominator Ecu
with their drive by Cable wire harness
If im not mistaken because I had problems as well I used a 2.5 Zr1 map sensor with a thicker ring gasket
I was wondering if that sandwich cooler would work with low ram cause it says only for hi ram.
Yessir thats exactly why I went with it. When combined with the 3" Intercooler its about a half inch shorter than the high ram
The intercollier works with all 3

So what sort of power this make compared to fast.. ? What would be good intake for me 238 242@112 cam Higgins race heads 30 tho off long tube twin 2s UDP kit etc just l6 intake thinking going 36 lbs and fast 92 or performance intake with 92 opening . hopefully won't have pull tank switch out for Walbro will only be 420rwhp surely stock pump do
Naturally aspirated running a higher Rpm it should scream its flow is as good as the high ram only thing that really changes is the torque curve this intake will make more power above 7500 all day!
I actually used it for the low clearance and to lower my bottom end torque below 5500 rpm keeping the party above 6k unfortunately my boost comes in so hard I don't think it's doing my rods a favor!
You will definitely pick up power especially with a 102mm Tb, The lid comes with a 105mm option that the 102mm tb fits perfectly as they are both the same bolt pattern!
With a proper stage 3 or 4 cam (Higher operating range cam) You'll see big gains!
If you want more torque though the high ram base makes up for that with the longer runners but you have to be ok with putting a window in your hood!

@@chrissimonmagana In my opinion yes,
I don't seem to have heat soaking issues and this intake can be used in combination with a multitude of lids and or other bases!
It doesn't matter how much boost you throw at this intake it will take it! and with the short runners you'll make alot of power the higher up in the revs you go!
@@StreetRacingLifeStyle sounds good because I haven't seen fbody use this lol first video actually seen out here i got a 98t/a with a lq9 6.0 243 milled heads will wana see if this intake will work out good with it

Most definitely should
Its roughly 3 to 3-1/2 inches shorter than the high ram
What did you do with the brake vac line?
The big Hole at top dead Center i used a 90° barbed pipe fitting and connected the line there! sense then I actually went manual brakes so I plugged it!
Good Info Buddy have you ran it with the new intake.
I did but for short time that motor had a billion issues so I pulled it all back out hopefully by Sunday ill have it up and running again
