In this powerful episode, we follow the journey of a Florida native drag performer who started less than a year ago to help raise support victims of Hurricane Ian. They shares the deeply personal story behind their drag persona-a tribute to their beloved mother, whose memory serves as both inspiration and guiding light. However, amidst their artistic expression our guest grapples with the chilling effects of Florida's anti-gay legislation, which threatens not only their own identity and safety but also those of their family and friends. They continue to use their platform to advocate for justice, equality, and acceptance.

In each episode we take a deep dive into the unique stories with insightful interviews,
we have partnered up with several of Tampa Bay Area’s esteemed community members, activists, and organizations to offer an intimate glimpse into the lives of LGBTQIA+ individuals that live here in Florida. The series will consist of engaging, thought-provoking episodes that shed light on personal journeys, challenges, triumphs, as well as the ways in which anti-gay legislation has impacted the community.
The first season centers on interviews with influential figures such as Angelique Young, Erica PC (Arron Perry), Lilith Black, and many more. These powerhouses were crucial to the start of the Drag2Talle movement earlier this year. Their stories will serve as a testament to the resilience and vibrancy of the LGBTQIA+ community in Florida.
But amidst the challenges, we also showcase the strength and solidarity within Florida's LGBTQ+ community. We highlight the local organizations, activists, and allies who tirelessly fight for equality. By showcasing this beautiful community, we hope to create dialogue, promote empathy, and advocate for a more inclusive and equal society.

I suppose I stumbled across this video since I am the mom of a drag queen. While watching it, I realized I once knew Aaron. We worked together many years ago. Aaron, your mom would be so proud of you now. Hey, I'm so proud if you and your activism. I'm also the mom of a transgender person. And thank you Beyond Borders for bringing this to light.
