The internet is such an amazing thing. I am currently learning Japanese since the language is interesting and because I love the Japanese visual aesthetic. I had at first wanted to stay for a few months in Japan, but I realize now that travel vlogs like yours are almost as good, if not better than actually being in person. Satisfying virtual reality can be imagined given a 2d source. Yes, the food and smells are absent, but so are the hassles of travelling, nevermind the expense. Your interpretation of your experiences are just as "real" and better than mine could ever be; seeing through your eyes is very amusing. The woman waving goodbye to the restaurant train absolutely humbled me. She is a shining example of what is truly beautiful in this world. Thank you.
wow, thank you for such an on-point inspiring comment. gives me motivation to create more. yes... the lady at the train was a beautiful moment which i will not forget. i am happy to hear you are learning japanese. i do understand traveling here is not easy but hopefully you will one day!
Great video….I loved the hot pot camp dinner, that amazing bridge, and the ending where you discussed the Japanese culture of saying goodbye. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, what an incredible trip. Each video was very well done, and I loved your passion and enjoyment of your discoveries and surroundings. The old lady at the train reminds me of a sweet old lady I met in Hiroshima on a previous trip. I was visiting Japan alone, and so I was sitting at a table, eating lunch by myself. She came over and started talking to me. Though we struggled to communicate, I did understand the basics of Japanese, so we were able to exchange some simple conversation. Of course, Hiroshima gets many visitors from all over the world, but still she took the time to show her gratitude that I specifically chose to visit her city. It was so wholesome and I think about her often. 😊 Thank you for recording your journey! It has helped to inspire me for the next trip to Japan (upcoming soon)!
thank you for such an inspiring message! yes, i think one of the best parts of traveling, especially traveling alone are the people you meet on your journey. i hope you have a great trip again to japan! in the upcoming weeks, i will start to upload my 3 week tohoku journey so i hope you enjoy!😀
Thank you for this atmospheric video! We all need to reboot sometimes, somewhere near a mountain river. Continued success! Take care of yourself! ( ◠‿◠ )
I am an artist. My dream is to go to Japan and spend a few days painting in nature. In a similar place as in the video. I'm trying to learn Japanese, maybe in 2 years I'll come there on vacation to fulfill my dream. 🙂
that sounds like a great dream! the mountains and the rivers are beautiful here. i would reccomend autumn season. the leaves turn incredibly red and orange. good luck!
