      Hate to break it to you but kevlar is just strips of special PLASTIC woven like a basket to create a tight "net" to "catch" projectiles that whi you get what's called backface deformation. It's not metal, infact most body armor today is made out of ceramic and plastic. A metal plate heavy enough to stop even small arms would be to heavy to be practical and would need to be hyper specialized for that job. This is pure fiction and the writer has no idea how armor works.

    • @kingol4801
      @kingol4801 29 днів тому

      Because he is.
      He does not work in a universe he is in. He is a well-designed level 10 character forced to be in a group of level 100 characters fighting raid bosses…… he is pretty much always redundant or given ridiculous plot armour to survive.
      Same with most united universes.
      X-men, for example, constantly deals with “humanity rejects things they don’t understand and superpowers” drama…… But everybody in Marvel’s universe loves Iron Man, Hulk (a green berserking mutant), Thor (an alien/god) etc.
      It just does NOT WORK.
      Batman is a GREAT character through and through. But he is beyond tone-deaf in a setting with Wonder Woman, Superman, Martian Manhunter etc.
      Like, his only real asset to Justice league are his deep wallets… You can say intelligence, but logically, speedsters (Superman and Flash), super computer (Cyborg), telepath (Manhunter) would CRUSH intelligence of any singular human individual, no matter how smart.
      Batman’s best description to this date is “Imagine if he is how internet sees Chuck Norris, but you have to take him seriously”…..
      Very well designed, but horribly written character.
      He is forced to exist in a world where he would be trivially redundant.
