@kristofevo in log or in general. Id say since 2019 he's been better than Luke and since 2020 it hasn't been close.

He’s been better than Luke, for quite some time.Once he beat him at Scotland’s strongest man, it was inevitable that he would start beating him regularly......but Luke has always had the edge in the log, until quite recently.
The way Toms going ,and with the ridiculous improvements he’s making ,he will be breaking records shortly.
I think that Mitch taking his title off him has really fired him up....its great to see.Incidentally, Lukes training has been going really well, too.A lot of improvements, its just that a lot of the others are improving, too.
That log looked (relatively) easy, Christ….
@kristofevo I feel luke might still be better. Luke probably doesn't have a wr in him anymore but can still do 220.

Ghram literally speed repped that 450kg dude had 480 in there, I was also wondering if you could put the Normal deadlift and silver dollar/18 inch deadlift in a different category.
I just put in weight order but we all know which was the hardest/strongest pull!😉💪🏼

@@haventhebeast6050 he’s looking like he’ll pull a thousand pounds actually which would place him at least mid pack. That’s as a raw lifter which he’ll most likely be the only one and as the lightest lifter. 435x2 is better than Maxime, Luke and gav’s competition pr and most of the athletes are competing at the Shaw classic 2 weeks prior which is an extremely taxing show and not a ton of time to recover. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jamal tied for 3rd or 4th

What happened at Worlds made him to stop skylaking and pushing himself to the fullest because he has not reached his limit yet. Similar like how Thor did from 2017 lost.

If he focuses on those two lofts, he very well could take the log press and deadlift records - possibly
Jack Osborne could be the log record holder one day. As of right now, looks like Big Tom is catching up with Luke. He'll be hard to beat at The Shaw Classic and anything else.

If they are allowed then the lift still counts. It reduces the range of motion and makes the lift a little easier👍🏼

Not in his frame. Maybe if he was taller. About 10lbs max would be ideal for him.
It depends, I think if he planned on doing strongman maybe. As a raw powerlifter I think he's better off in his current weight. SHW have trouble with deadlifts from how much harder the grip is in raw deadlifts from the weight being further away from you from the big belly.
@@farmari87to note: jamal is around the same height as Graham Hicks, if not a bit taller.
@@apo75018 And he is doing as good, that's my point. More body weight aint the holy grail for more weights. It depends how you are build.
