What up man.. great video. I have the same radio as you have there. Yeasterday it lost all front panel display. The radio has worked perfect for many years. I turn it on I have receive,, everything works just no display. The display is green and fades out after about 45 seconds. I think like the one you and I have there (no internal battery). I'm going to try to clean the plugs going to the display with some Deoxit F5.. maybe they dirty? HA.. wishful thinking huh! Can you help me? Love your vids man. Thanks 3's ✌

Well, that radio turned out really well because I wasn't confident with that radio back in it's day on my base station.
