Seeing all the cutscenes like this really highlights just how little of the game's story is delivered in cutscenes, especially when it comes to seasonal content.
Still remember seeing a trailer for season of the splicer and then going to gamestop asking if they had any of the destiny games. The guy there told me that they were backordered on D2 but that I could buy D1 for 0.99 cents LOL
Had some major flashbacks to the release of D1 when I watched this. I had no idea what I was doing in the game, but little did I know that first experience would turn into almost 10 years of memories and dedication to the story and the game. It’s crazy to think about just how long the story has been going on for, it’s been a long, long journey…
I do and I think that's because Destiny is a part of me, I feel connected to the universe and the characters. I guess it brings back lots of memories and it hurts T_T
I didn’t play nearly as much Destiny as most people in the comments and I barely know any of its majestic story, sadly. But I feel the same way. I really wish I could go back to the 1.5 years that I played this game a little too much each day. It wasn’t a perfect time, but it was comforting. As for the crying: I cried hard an hour ago. And the past hour, I just spent watching Destiny content and especially listening to the soundtrack. It is legendary and so nostalgic

This is awesome, we jump into Destiny once or twice a year since the first game and recently got back into it. Using this to remind me of what happened. Great work.
During the beta testing we would pop exotic engrams sometimes 3 at a time. Legendaries popped like commons and exotics popped like legendaries. We would respawn a cave farm for an hour and come away with a full bag of exotics. Year 1 was the best year.
Seeing the cutscene where oryx speaks reminds me that he ever did at all. I can't believe i forgot him talking in the regicide mission. Shame he doesn't at all in the raid, but IG it was a different time.
It’s really interesting for me to hear Nolan North’s ghost at the beginning of D1 in comparison to now, cuz it seemed so much more natural in the inflection and everything back then
This is fantastic and so well done! It brought back memories of when I went nuts over vanilla D1. Sony's movie division could turn this story in a Star Wars caliber movie franchise that could last for decades.
Honestly really enjoyed this it took me a few days of free time but well worth it the action the drama the love the hate the fear the anger everything was expertly represented and clipped greatly I hope they have you help make the destiny movie honesty congratulations submit this for actual awarding I bet you get awards

I don't think I've ever had more fun with a game than when I played the beta version. Hours of cave farming and fireteam missions. Exotics and legendaries popping like crazy. I STILL have my nasty beta hand canon, scout rifle, and what I call my million yard stare. Firefly, armor piercing, and explosive rounds with max rolls. And there had to have been some secret perk on them because they were never nerfed. I remember playing with people after the beta and the weapon tuning, and they would watch me fly across their screen and clear a room in like 3 seconds. "Wtf gun is that?!?!" and "I could watch you all day" was a very normal thing to hear over the headset. Most people thought I was cheating. On a good day, watching my hunter solo run a horde was like watching a train plow through snow.
Reminds me of when my dad played d1 and early d2 when I was four I used to not like the game but then my brother told me about the lore to the game now I love it I’m 12 years old now and can’t wait to play final shape.
I still find it upsetting looking at all the old promotional footage prior to destiny’s release . I feel like it was promised with so much character , but laid bare by release
Wish they had more real cut scenes. The original commercial with the immigrant as the song hooked me instantly need more music not just classical it's amazing don't get me wrong but imagine !!

Who else feels like if you're going to make two characters gay then you do it the way bungie did? Anyone who knows Osiris and Saint know they care about each other like a lot so to see them kissing wasn't a shock and didn't feel like it was done for pc reasons.

I had looked forward to d1 for so long and the music just not only reminds me of a better more curious time. And the music is objectively good

I fell in love with this franchise as soon as I saw it when I played Destiny Alpha test. We need that feeling back.
