      The defense going with a mental immaturity strategy doesn’t align with the premeditated SA that occurred, being mentally more “4 or 6” years old doesn’t match the s3xual component of this crime he said he knew what he was doing and he knew he was going to do it when he lead her there. This wasn’t just a fantasy he actually did all of these things to someone he knew loved and trusted him, adult court is the only place for him.

      Children don't belong in adult court, if they did we wouldn't have a juvenile system. I guess I don't really understand how R-ing & K-ing a 10 year old is an "adult" thing to do, seems pretty immature to me.. he deserves prison & he should probably be put into a psychiatric facility indefinitely but it seems pointless to have a juvenile court system just to charge & sentence 14 year Olds as if they're adults when their brains don't fully develop for at least another decade.

    It’s confirmed it’s her cousin. The family of Lily (also the family of Carson) have made posts asking for people to not demonize his immediate family. They’ve actually shown a pretty honorable amount of sympathy for his parents and even him himself.

      Carson's dad spent time in prison for having child 🌽.
      I went to school with his dad. I didn't suspect anything then, but yeah. He wasn't a great person. Unfortunately, there's a lot going on with that extended family.

      Absolutely true, but far too many of these kids don't know beforehand that they will be sentenced to jail, probably for life, for murder. Many think they will get a slap on the wrist as they have for prior convictions. They don't think about consequences.

    ASD children "don't understand"? I am a special education teacher working with children with autism. We have a nonverbal au student who's around 7. They liked LIKED to push until we made interventions so every time they pushed they had an immediate redirection/"punishment" that was suitable for the kid. Hasn't pushed in over a year. 🙄🙄

      What’s your point?… “special needs” is evolving daily, we are all in the spectrum…

    • @ssgemactv
      @ssgemactv 2 місяці тому

      I mean imagine being a nonverbal child with severe special needs and when people talk about you it was about all those times they punished you... You're definitely not the hero You Think You Are, I don't need to know what's wrong with your statement to know something isn't right. You're giving off the vibe a lot of the group home staff did where they were really lite abusers but always talks about how they were actually helping us... Your statement was solely about all those times you had to punish a nonverbal child, there's something seriously wrong with them developmentally if they're nonverbal. Abuse... 😂

    So sad for Lily’s family. They’ll never get her back, no matter what happens. She was just a kid on her bike, thinking she was safe with him walking her home. He utterly betrayed her trust. Horrifically. Now he has destroyed her family’s and well as his own family’s lives, his own future. RIP Lily.

Show them all the videos putting children in adult courts and then tell them to say that children don’t think like adults and act like adults and want to be like adults…
