Best fix would be to stop throwing Apple money in their greedy throats and not buying Apple products anymore, Apple sees the things you buy as their property even after you gave them $1,000 for a $200 prduct.

@@Felipe2077tv Yeah, sooner or later they will find a way so no repair at all will be worth it for the people, REWA will still find solution for repairs and refurbishment, but no customer will agree to repair anymore and people will still buy it like mad, or actually not like mad, they are mad, waiting for days in front of closed doors for something that is available with an overflow couple hours later is pure madness.

Not far fetched to think there's an in-between concerning cheap repairs to Apple official repairs.
Another point to note would be screen refurbishers who would do this kind of thing in bulk to sell wholesale refurbished screens. Refurb screens fetch a higher price over fully third party screens.

I'm a bit confused, why you need to grind chip in new display, when in the old display you can remove it with solder?
why not using solder in both of them?

i think because desolder the chip from the new display is more risky than grinding, maybe

    HI.
I bought an iPhone 11 on swappie in July for my son who dropped it and broke the screen,
I replaced the display but, in addition to the non-original message, the device restarts after about two minutes of unlocking the screen and using it.
If I leave it on without touching it, the phone doesn't restart and stays on for up to two days until the battery runs out.
It happens with both original and compatible displays but if I leave the display with the glass broken the phone works fine (no reboot, no messages from unknown parts). Can you advise me?
Here in Italy many shops cannot solve the problem
    Thank you

I was able to solder the ic based on what I saw in the video, but the message remained. Non-original iphone display that has been disabled for face id. Has anyone else had such a problem? Thanks in advance for the answers!

Using JC-V1Se, is it possible to remove the important display message even if I don't have the original screen IC? If not, exists any tool to do this?

why you need to grind first? you could use heat precautions and remove with heat

    • @Finix.W
      @Finix.W 3 роки тому

Too dangerous, cuz Apple applied a very strong thermal glue between original chip and ribbon cable, use a heat gun to desolder the chip will have extremely higher chance to damage the solder pads, then ruin a whole screen. Grinding the chip is actually the most safest and easiest way.

Do you use high temperature solder paste for the reballing (ie NOT low temp solder paste)? What temperature do you set the gun to?

i have to disagree with you guys. I have replace an Iphone 11 lcd without transferring the original IC TOUCH MODULE. There no message that pop up. So I’m sure that it’s not only the touch module. Please research more on this. I want to know why the message does not appear on my replacement screen. This would help the community if we find out the exact reason why
