Could this be same issue with iPhone 12 models too
Bro does this affect anything in the phn while using it or anything.
A question. What is easier to change the circuit or change the touch glass of the phone?
Course periods
Apple : let's make the phone unrepairable as possible.
REWA : hold my IC grinder.
Apple can shove an bana up their ass, it's a disgusting company! Rather not waste my time on this sh*t and trade Apple stocks instead among others. lol
is that all it is?
Solution don't buy an iPhone
This is an amazingly specialized fix. Props to REWA for discovering the fix and showing people how to fix it themselves.
Thanks for the support about our sharing :)
This has been kicking around the refurbishing community for about a month or so now. I do wish Apple would stop adding these road blocks to repairs though!
Best fix would be to stop throwing Apple money in their greedy throats and not buying Apple products anymore, Apple sees the things you buy as their property even after you gave them $1,000 for a $200 prduct.
@@Wilson84KS I agree, but not everyone knows about the bad things that Apple does, or if they do know, some people don't care enough to stop using their products.
@@Felipe2077tv Yeah, sooner or later they will find a way so no repair at all will be worth it for the people, REWA will still find solution for repairs and refurbishment, but no customer will agree to repair anymore and people will still buy it like mad, or actually not like mad, they are mad, waiting for days in front of closed doors for something that is available with an overflow couple hours later is pure madness.
Wow, this is amazing. There is always a workaround and REWA always find techniques to repair these things. Good work REWA
Thanks for watching :)
REWA is the most important repair resource on UA-cam right now
Thank you for your work
Thanks for your support and we will keep work :)
Been waiting for this video. Thank you so much Rewa !!

You guys are awesome...
Though i am jobless right now bcs of the pandemic. But i've learned so much from REWA and still learning...

Awesome work! Thanks for this tutorial.
Pioneers in iphone repairing...nicely crafted ...
Amazing! Thanks REWA
Although I totally appreciate what you do I am not able to do any of that. So my fix to the display notice is going to be to move the settings icon off of my Home Screen. Lol
perfect work...and perfect team..
ohh I can't belive that you actually grind down the IC. good work Rewa !
Thanks for watching :)
@@rewatechnology2008 do you think it’s same way with the iPhone 12 models

why grind from new screen ? possible to slide in heatproof under the flex and hot air?
@@RR-fv2uu much less risk
Thank you rewa academy May God bless you
I’m glad it has this message when buying a iPhone from eBay etc stops people not saying if it’s been replaced etc
Where can I find the stencil used to reball the touch module? It doesn't seem to be on your website.
Gratz. Very interesting!
love to watch yours repairing video. and plz show us parts position wich way is right and which way is wrong
Thanks for your feedback about our video :)
nice tutorial....thanks
Great job!
Super !!!! thank you
Does anybody know what materials he used? Like the soldering paste. Flux and stuff like that? I want to try this but I don’t know what I need
Professional work. Cool.
is there any other way tov solve this problem like copy the data from old screen to the new one using some kind of any adapter...thanks
Thank you 😊
that's next level repair.
Good Job Friend!!
I love Rewa
Good finish work perfectly clear congratulations rewa technology 🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍🙏
Thanks for watching :)
Why grind the IC down rather than removing like you did on the original screen? To avoid heat damage to the new screen?
Question: Why do you have to reball the IC after removal from original display? Couldn’t you just solder it as is (after cleaning with PCB of course) to the new display without reballing?
its the same as try to put together a cracked multilayer pcb again... they have microscopics gapes that can't be surpass without a jumper... and in this case a jumper is a ball.
small mistake may damage your new screen, great work rewa
Yes, professional motherboard repair techniques and handwork skills are required during the process.
Thanks for watching :)
@@rewatechnology2008 too much work and risk involved, not worth the effort better go to Apple
@@arnonabuurs7297 For normal user yes, Apple is the fast way with fairly ok price. This tutorial I think is more for the small chipset-level repair center as a reference or for individual repair technician.
is it possible to use lead-free solder paste for the reballing?
You are talented
Using JC-V1Se, is it possible to remove the important display message even if I don't have the original screen IC? If not, exists any tool to do this?
I was able to solder the ic based on what I saw in the video, but the message remained. Non-original iphone display that has been disabled for face id. Has anyone else had such a problem? Thanks in advance for the answers!
HI.
I bought an iPhone 11 on swappie in July for my son who dropped it and broke the screen,
I replaced the display but, in addition to the non-original message, the device restarts after about two minutes of unlocking the screen and using it.
If I leave it on without touching it, the phone doesn't restart and stays on for up to two days until the battery runs out.
It happens with both original and compatible displays but if I leave the display with the glass broken the phone works fine (no reboot, no messages from unknown parts). Can you advise me?
Here in Italy many shops cannot solve the problem
Thank you
You could also use a jc1000pro and then just copy all the original screen info to the new screen
wow, awesome tip! thank you!
nope, it will not work. it'll copy the true tone feature only. the important display message still appear
Can we use the tool icopyplus to transfer data instead of moving the ic?
Really very easy method
Just woow really it an amazing work
How many seconds do you heat the IC at 300 deg airflow 30 when transferring the IC?
let me ask what company? When the screen is turned on, what is the appropriate temperature for the temperature?
Super work
I heard about the programming the new display in hugh Jeffery's video
Not going to work on iphone 11, it will restore true tone but not important display message
It's been working for me just fine
Hi , sir where i can buy iphone 11 pro max touch module reballing stencil. please send the link for me
Thnks rewa
Are there any programmer to read/change serial number for screen and battery?
You still need to do this or there’s an icopy upgrade?
Good job @Rewa
Does work True Tone too? Thank you for the information.
Yes, the true tone function works normally.
You can check the part of 09:14 in the video :)
True tone can be transfer via programer tool like JC V1S, but if you move the chip, you don't need to do any re-program step.
Can’t I just use the quianli programmer? And will Face ID and True Tone work after that?
Good job
Wow! So easy!
Great video but let's face it. Who is going to do all that? It would make the repair unaffordable for the customers. Not to talk about the risk of damaging the display.
Here is my question, if I took the screen from working iPhone 11 Pro (OEM one) and try to put to the another iPhone 11 Pro - will this messages 'non-genuine' screen pops up? Thank you in advance for the answer!
Is this also fix face id after screen replacement?
I love REWA TECHNOLGY- specials Gritings from Spain Valencia 👍👍👍
I was thinking doing this but with intense work and display repair, the cost will come pretty close to what Apple charges.....unless you use super cheap parts......so.....
This is exactly why Apple does this kinda stuff, basically forces you to go to them
Everything still works on the screen. This doesn't seem worth the work. Just tell the customer what it means and that everything is still ok. They can live with it.
@@benjaminfreeman1418 the touch screen is no longer working so basically the phone is useless without repair.
@@nopparuj The touch screen does I have repaired plenty with this message, Its just a message to warn that the display isnt the original display, Just a ploy aple use to discorage repairs outside of apple
@@benjaminfreeman1418 or go to a different phone...
Would this happen to iPhone 8? Would I need to do that if the screen it’s crack
Thanks boss :)
Then Icopy not working? only soldering solution?
What if you no longer have the original chip or screen? Will the factory screen clear this from another iphone 11?
Do you use high temperature solder paste for the reballing (ie NOT low temp solder paste)? What temperature do you set the gun to?
Good question, which one do you use?
Great video
But, following things are missing :
1. When reballing the touch iC , do you use low , medium or high temp solder paste??
2. What temperature and airflow is used to reball the touch IC ?
what about if you do not have the original touch ic because previously someone else changed screen? There is no solution for that right?
Yes, the original IC is a must.
Why do you grind off the touch ic, why don’t you heat it up like you did on the original screen???
Does REWA sell solder-ready displays? Would be nice to not have to do the grinding bit, just swap the chip over.
For any demands, please feel free to contact us at sales@rewatechnology.com
Thank you :)
Can you fix this problem with jc-v1s?
Do you use the same solder paste for the rebelling? Does it have to be black solder paste or can it be another colour?
Hi, good question, do you use the same one?
Hi, what tool do you use for grinding the IC off the new display?
Hi, for the IC Chip Grinding Removal Pen, please check this link ( bit.ly/2P4LhDV ) as a reference.
Thanks for the inquiry :)
i didnt know the screen is that easy to remove
what magic hands do this guy got
I tried replacing the IC CHIP on display. From the original, he loaded the data into the programmer. Then he put the original IC chip into the non-original one, uploaded the data back and the display still shows "Non-Genuine Part". The display, including touch, works perfectly. I tried flash and that didn't help either. Don't know where the problem could be?
Can use Icopy (qianly) For remove important message display????????
Such a technical job shown easy by steps thx
This would take a lot of time and experience. Very complex process. I think it’s might be a better idea to live with that message..
This is not for people like you, this is for professionals who repair phones for customers.
@Nick ______ Yes, but this video is for those that do care.. It doesn't matter than 90% of repair techs don't follow this it matters for the 10% that do
@Nick ______ meanwhile everyone I know pays out their ass for a repair at an Apple store
Not far fetched to think there's an in-between concerning cheap repairs to Apple official repairs.
Another point to note would be screen refurbishers who would do this kind of thing in bulk to sell wholesale refurbished screens. Refurb screens fetch a higher price over fully third party screens.
Idk why you're so adamant, REWAs equipment, technology and videos exist for a reason yet you feel a need to argue with me about it I don't understand
@@guser436 If you are going to pay premium for a repair, and money is not a concern, you send it for apple to repair ... it makes no sense paying premium price in a repair shop when the brand itself does it for the same price, ppl that send the phones to a repair shop do it for a reason, they want it cheaply.
@@livebrain There is not an Apple store in every city. The world does not revolve around America. Go back to the point of screen refurbishers, where would repair techs source screens? Low quality third party or high quality refurbs? Even still, these screens cost less than getting an Apple repair. Your ignorance is not just disappointing, it's downright sad.
this is the best way to replace those iPhone screens just need tools and something to cover the screen to protect is as much as possible.. and you dont really need a grinder if you can just heat it off.
I'm a bit confused, why you need to grind chip in new display, when in the old display you can remove it with solder?
why not using solder in both of them?
i think because desolder the chip from the new display is more risky than grinding, maybe
Apple : we pair Touch ID,Face ID,Screen to the individual ph-
REWA - dont worry we can work it out
At time 9:03 in settings about it says ios 13 version
But in my phone display message comes in ios 15 only,
ios 13 and 14 doesn't give any display messages
Do i need to do this if i find an original Apple display from another phone?
Do it with the battery iPhone XS and another, please
Yes just change the battery strips
Perfect
Apparently changing the screen no longer brings up the warning on the latest update. I've not had an iPhone 11 in since so I can test myself. If its correct, win win.
when you get one in, please tell me if it doesn't my email is jakemm2@hotmail.com
I have done same thing last week with iPhone 11.
Does this work if you use a non OEM screen also?
Can it be done without orignal display?

Awesome
Lol, can’t believe it, This is the first time I’ve seen a REWA video and I’ve actually got a better and faster technique 😁
Took me a whole day to get my technique mastered.
Thanks for the video though, you’re all amazing there!, it’s very interesting seeing an alternative method to the one I worked out.

Whats your better technique? Genuinely interested.
Copy the serial number to the new screen is easier
You can copy the serial number but it still comes up with the warning... try it 😢
