This cheers me up. I have a 2010 Cadillac CTS and yesterday someone tore a hole in the back seat. Its about 2 inches long. I couldn't sleep last night thinking of it. Now i can rest since i see that there is hope, haha. Thanks for the video.

Hey thanks for this video! Question. ....would this work on car leather seats?
It takes about 5 minutes to put the sub patch on, glue it down and put some filler in. You can then dry it off with a hair drier and apply the colour. If we match the colour for you it will only take about 5 more minutes to put the colour on and finish the job. If you match the colour yourself, this could take about 30 minutes depending upon how your colour matching is!!

Will work on a very simple small triangle rip on the shoulder of a leather biker jacket? And I have every color cream available sp, my black cream polish will suffice?

hi,i have made a few repairs which are strong..problem is color matching and grain matching...I will order your color kit and your grain mold maker...just have a question... I would guess you stamped the grain on filler after to have applied a few layers and reached the shape and grade...but is this done after last layer is applied or do you wait an hour or so after since filler is very sticky and will stick to grain mold...thanks
Hello, if you purchase the ready made grain pad, you would press it gently onto the filler once the last layer has been applied. It is best to apply the filler in thin layers drying each one (either with time or a hairdryer on a cool setting) as you go. So if you've done this you'll only have a short wait for the last layer to just begin to dry before pressing down the pad and allowing to dry completely. If you have any problems just give us call and someone will walk you through!

Would this kit work for a hole in leather, approx the size of a cigarette burn? Would I simply require a backing patch?
Hi Jack, The kit come with a patch so you have what you need to repair the hole and fill it. You would then need a touch up kit to recolour over the hole and disguise the damage completely. Can I use this for vinyl top repair for a 2 inch long tear?
Yes this will work for Vinyl too.
The reason why I asked that it's because I want to know if I can use that kit for vinyl repair also , where i have to deal with a lot of grains

If the hole is bigger you may need the Colourant kit but or a small tear those are fine.

What about larger tears? Is it possible to repair a tear/cut that is about 3-4 inches long?
It is possible to repair a larger tear. So long as you're confident in using the products, it can be done. Good luck!

Yes, any artificial leathers can be fixed using the same process.
Really nice explanation, I'd totally give it a go if I had a smaller tear. Mine is basically in the size of a small cat claw and I can't find any info anywhere what to do with that. I can't really squeeze anything in, it's very superficial. :(
