Both parts of the King David documentary mashed together for a more enjoyable experience. Also, side note, Scotland is quite a time-consuming process to draw maps for so, thumbs up for that, cheers.
David's wife, Maud of Huntingdon is the ancestress of five of the Magna Carta barons: Robert FitzWalter, William d'Aubigny, Saher de Quincy, William de Huntingfield & Henry de Bohun; and the wives of four others: William Lanvally, John de Lacy, Robert de Ros & Eustace de Vescy. Fully twenty, of the twenty-four Magna Carta Surety Barons are tied by kinship, and/or, marriage. The twenty-fifth surety was William Hardell, the Mayor of London of whom we know nothing.
I can't remember off the top of my head, but the sources I used to create this video will have details on it, unfortunately physical copies of the sources I used are quite expensive, but this is the list of them. Early sources of Scottish history 500 to 1286, volumes one and two. £50 in total David 1st the king who made Scotland-Richard Oram £25 The Anglo-Saxon chronicles. free or cheap. Matilda-Catherine Hanley. £8.99 Stephen and Matilda-Jim Bradbury. £8.99.

Loving the videos
Excellent... Thank you.
Very interesting video. Do you have any info on Selkirk Abbey? I stay in Galashiels, very close to Melrose.

@@Embracehistoria thank you I appreciate you taking the time 😎
The greatest ruling king of Scotland
Interesting to see the poppies of peace in the field of brutal Medieval battle. 🤭
Keep. E protected.
Ads each 5 minutes, a nuisance, a pity for an otherwise very good video
My apologies, I keep forgetting that if I don't manually place ads, UA-cam will do it for me.
@@Embracehistoria No issue, still a very interesting video
@@Embracehistoria Difficult to remember everything, brilliant video. ✌
Macbeth was the best King.
