Muchas gracias por su video. Ha sido muy útil para mi aprendizaje. En especial a partir de la sección de substituciones con los menores y las inversiones. Tengo mucha tarea, pero con mucho sentido. De nuevo muchas gracias..!!!

Thanks for your work! is a inversion chord just an other chord in the same scale? on guitar it seem to be the case mainly with triads and shell chords

An inversion is a standard major or minor chord where we play a different note as the lowest or bass note. Usually, the root note or 1st note is the lowest note in a chord. For example, the C major chord has the C note as its lowest note. But there are two other notes in the chord. If you play them as the lowest note in your chord then we call it an inversion. This video should help explain it: ua-cam.com/video/-49Jt2OzRqU/v-deo.html also covered at 21:50 in this video. If the original chord was in the key of your song, then the inversions will also be in key as they use the same scale notes. I hope that helps you!

Worth it for the explanation of chords in a key with that diagram. So poorly and confusingly explained elsewhere.

Triads have 2 inversions and tetrads have 3.

Aren't TRIads chords with 3 notes and TETRAds chords with 4 notes?
