Sometimes silk bonnets are silkier on the out side (idk why) but you can flip it inside out for the silkier texture to touch your hair!
I have to say, that you guys are great. Funny as heck. I’m 58 and trying the curly routine.. was on and off for a year, because of frustrations, but now I’m going to give it my all. Hopefully I’ll get the results I want ... I have thick hair, don’t really need the volume but looking for as natural as possible curls (if there is such a thing) I’m glad that you use only 2 products to achieve the curls and then some extra to maintain it. Can’t hurt, I’ll try it. Looking forward to seeing more of your hair routine.

It's funny because i bought a bonnet few months ago but just tried since 2 nights ago because i just cut my hair and the pineapple isn't possible now, and i'm surprise that it keeps my curls. But because my hair shorter just under the ears, my hair are sticking to my scalp when i unwear the bonnet, but the fluff make it nice, i then make a really tiny bit of milk by shea moisture and fingercoil a little and that's it for the refresh.
I find fingercoils hard to do when my hair is wet, and it takes much time, i also wonder because my hair are not long how to do for the hair that are in the back of my head since it's hard to take them...

Thank you for watching!! yes the bonnet helps a tonne! Put that thing to use! Finger coiling is great to refresh curls with some water and product mixed over wonky curls in the mornings! The back/underneath may get flat overnight because it is so short so use some product and water to smooth over the curls to wake them up! Hope these tips help xoxo

I have purchased and return the Devacurl blow dryer possibly because I didn’t know how to properly defuse. I have fine curly/wavy hair and ive got two bonnets to try and see if I can get good affects from. one of them is black satin bonnet but its long in the back bc my hair is long. it flattened, frizzed, and made my curl pattern all wonky. The next one was just a regular bonnet it is silk and I just stuffed my hair in it like Amanda did in her section of the video. Problem was; hair tangled, frizzed, and lost volume. What should I wear instead?

I prefer to sleep in a 100% mulberry silk pillow case so my face takes advantage of it too😊

I’ve been wearing a bonnet since i was like 2 years old and i know that most black women have been wearing bonnets since Jesus was a boy lol. I remember telling my white friend to wear a bonnet for her curly hair and she told me it was only for black people lmao 🥴 .... bonnets are to preserve the moisture in your hair. You were always clearly an attractive woman but your hair is so impactful that's kind of what one notices the most. I didn't pay detailed attention to your facial features BB (before bonnet). But WOW are you gorgeous woman. If you ever had to shave your head or cut your hair super short, that would retract nothing away from your beauty. Nothing at all. I just wanted to say that. Dear seesters, I don't want to be impolite, but may I please add a little extra info about the difference between silk and satin? The biggest difference between the two is that silk is a natural fiber and satin is a weave. Satin can be created by used silk or other materials. Often products are sold as silk when they are satin polyester. If you are a vegan you will probably not want to use silk, because silk is an animal byproduct. Kind regards :)

Wearing a bonnet has saved me for wearing my wavy hair for the next day I use to re wash my hair the next day just so I could scrunch style it all over again smh 🤦♀️ but now the bonnet has been such a game changer 😍

in all honesty I realize now just how much black women do to protect their hair. some of their tips may not apply to me or is just too much work cuz I'm lazy, but now I realize the power. I honestly have the bonnets though, but I've seen scarfs could work so I'm gonna look into finding a silk one since I don't want a silk pillow case in case it doesn't work. Glad to see my black roots coming out in my hair now because it helps me really become away of the different little things black girls do.

My mother's curls are much much looser than mine and she's very careless with her hair as where my hair is alot of maintenance in the morning and just on a regular basis. Because of this I was never taught how to preserve my hair and keep it healthy this along with some of your other videos were very helpful. Thank you 😊

I wear a satin bonnet but my curls still get all frizzy I have a really hard time keeping my curls looking good I’ve tried so many methods but they always come out messy. Do you have any tips?
I use products with silicone, the only struggle is that it dicreases my hair volume
