I never understood the difference between the online canvas and the version downloaded to my computer. Thanks for presenting this with so much clarity. I am from WA state. Tonight, I am working on machine embroidery personalizing some towels for grandkids with my Stellaire XE1 and using the app on my phone for perfect placement.

I would love for someone to tell me why when I added canvas workspace and artspira and my scanning cut I now cannot send an embroidery design from my PE11 to my lumi ? Anyone else have that Issue? I must be doing something wrong?

Hi BJ. Canvas is webbased, so you CAN use on the browser on your ipad by visiting: canvasworkspace.brother.com/en. I hope that helps!
Yes I know I can use it on my iPad but I can’t download it onto my iPad to be able to use it offline. I can log onto the internet and use canvas but what I really want to do is to download it so I can use it without internet. I hope that help you understand what I need I don’t have a computer to put it on. I really enjoy watching your videos I learn so much from you thank you so much for your help.
The best thing about it is there is no monthly fee to use it. That is why I don’t have a Cricut
I have a question. I have some really bad vision problems and I cannot see the tiny screen on the scan and cut. Is there any way to scan it in and edit it in the software on an iPad? So that I don’t have to work with the little screen once I scan it in. Say I want to stamp some thing and cut it out.
Yes, you can use an ipad. It is much easier to see on an ipad.
I’m still confused about which Canvas workspace I should use. Should I put one on my iPad and one on my computer?
It depends on whether you prefer working on your ipad or computer. The login should be the same on both, so it's really what you prefer. Barbara.
Please say where you are clicking. The pointer is small and white. You move pretty fast; I can not tell if you are at the top or at the bottom. For instance weld. Thanks for all your efforts. I know you know this software and really move like your mind is moving: fast. I apologize that I am so slow. I have bought this but need instruction 👍

Hi Margueritte. You will need to save your pdf to a jpeg or png. Then select image tracing to bring your image in to canvas. - Courtney
I have model number cm 650 W. I just looked on the brother website to see what I needed to download to make my machine compatible with the new canvas workspace,. I got overwhelmed. Do you know Courtney?
Hi Marilyn! It will work, but you will need to transfer your designs made on canvasworkspace to a USB stick, and put that in the Scanncut and retrieve the design like that. The CM models aren't wireless. I hope you get really inspired by Canvas Workspace

Will the 330d talk to the Babylock Solaris?
Hello! We haven't tried it, but have been told it does not. You can still use as a standalone product, and it will read the babylock embroidery files, just not transfer wirelessly to the machine. Barbara

Good morning! So I like your videos except you are moving around WAY TOO FAST!!!!! You know where things are & why they do what they do but WE DON’T!!!!!!! BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS…..
Sorry about that! There is a gear icon in UA-cam on the video screen where you can modify playback speed to slow it down. It's on the bottom, hover your mouse over the gear icon and it will say "Settings" click that, and then click "Playback Speed", set to .5, or lower and you can change up or down to your preference. Hi, can u point me to one of your current videos that show how to bend or curve text around a design. I’ve only just begun about 2 weeks ago and have difficulty doing this with the Canvas Workspace. I’ve only found videos from 2-4 years ago and they aren’t helping. Thx
