    I did my first attempt with six colours for a tee shirt and I was not sure how until I watched and worked step by step with this video. So excited for my next project. Thank you Sue an awesome video.

    This helped me sooo much! Thank you for putting this tutorial out, I greatly appreciate it! Now, if I could only get my 2-color vinyl decal lined up properly!😅

    Love the video! It's a shame that the file is not available any more as it's really cute. It's also probably better to ungroup before sending to the machine so that you have to freedom to move the shapes around to best fit your medium. I learnt this the hard way haha. Thanks for the walk through.

      Maggie still had that file available last I checked. I will check with her again. Thanks for letting me know there is an issue.

    I have grouped by color but how do I separate them to show up as seperate boards on the machine when I send over the file?

      In the downloaded version you can use the eye icon (hide) in the right-hand menu of the Layers panel. Hide everything that you do not want to send over. Cut the shapes sent and then hide them and unhide the next shapes that you wish to cut. Repeat until you have cut all of your design.
      Depending on your project you could also cut multiple colors at once. www.createwithsue.com/cut-multiple-colors-on-one-mat/

      Make sure you change the stroke (outside line) from transparent to have a color. This is usually why you cannot see the design once you remove the fill color.

    How do you link picture to Inkscape please

    • @CreateWithSueandScanNCut
      @CreateWithSueandScanNCut  3 роки тому

      To use Inkscape with this Gnome you would need to upload the Gnome SVG file into Inkscape. Depending on your cutting machine, the SVG would also upload to Cricut's Design Space. The video tutorial is using Canvas Workspace which is for the Brother Scan N Cut.

      There are two versions of Canvas Workspace. The Layers menu is only available in the offline/dowloaded version of Canvas Workspace. This version is available for both PC and Mac's however for tablets an iPads the online version is your only option.
