Canon R7 High ISO samples photos with raw files and raw videos. (Update Adobe Lightroom and Camera Raw! The files should work now) All photos you see are straight out of camera with Auto WB. Videos are 4K 30p. All images shot with Canon RF 35mm f1.8 IS.

Great review...I'm probably gonna buy the R7 but keep hearing that the low-light noise was an issue. Doesn't seem to be a big issue at all! Always good to see real-life unprocessed examples, so thank you for that!

The max ISO for the R7 looks like ISO400 for my T6 that I currently use lol

the standards for cameras are crazy now! I did not expect this good of performance at 12800 ISO. Even on my A7iii I would not go above 6400

Amazing video! 👏 Remember, topaz denoise is a great software for those wanting to clean up the noise levels in their photos. Great video. I myself will be comparing the noise levels from my 80D to the R7 files and see whether there is an improvement or not.

if you're upgrading from t7i, and you have opportunity to buy EOS R and there is need for active shooting( studio sessions,weddings(day and night shooting), low light shooting) .. would you choose R or R7? nobody really talks about R vs R7 .. thanksssss !!

Hi, thank You very much for the Download. I am thinking about getting the R7 as a 2nd body to my R, that has to be lowlight-capable for event-photography , fast enough for birdphotography under lowlight conditions and higher resolution as like as the EOS R , round 30MP is the perfect Res for me so I can crop or cut slightly without loosing to much Pixel.
The R7 seems to be built for me and I will have a look at Your examples , but I think they will not change my decision.
I wan't that camera, the first body after the R came on market that fuels my GAS and seems to fit in my needs.
Long story short: I'll have a closer look on your files, thank You again and best wishes from Germany, Alex

At least the dynamic range at ISO 100 is around 13,7 EV for both of them. You can use Hraw to measure the dynamic range of the cameras yourself.

Standard for the jpgs but I don’t think it has any effect on the RAW files

yes, depending on which 4k mode you shoot with... but you have to shoot for a very long time to overheat (at least 20/25 min in the "worst" case). so for most usages, it will be perfectly fine

Wow ok, my G80 seems like garbage compared to this. The images look alot worse than this even at ISO800
