Textured Ocean Wave Tumbler Tutorial

- I am so excited about this new way to do tumblers and a new way to add texture and dimension to ocean paintings made with resin. The ingredients in my Sea Foam Blend are Mod Podge, white ink, water and dish soap. If you would like to just try mine, you can get it from my shop:

I love how you did this tumbler, I absolutely love the bubble foam it gave so much depth and realistic look. I’m doing one using real sand from beach in Florida but the sand is so white. May have to try the textured paint or paint some gold over it. Thank you for the idea.

Çan you get good results as far as cells and lacing from stone coats craft resin?Can you tell me why the art coat is so much more expensive than the craft resin?What are the differences between the two?
Hello Steve! The craft coat has no UV resistance so it will amber within a couple of months. The art coat has the highest UV resistance (HALS) and that is one of the properties that makes resin expensive
