    Great video chief.
I approach my skating in a number of ways. It all depends on how I feel on the day. Just pushing around for 20 minutes is a good indicator. Sometimes I just need a glory session, where I just do all my usual stuff higher and faster with some buddies. Sometimes I'll go solo, so I can really focus on a trick that is inconsistent and I'll try to break it down by the millimetre and dial it in. Sometimes I will take my most comfortable tricks and try to adapt them to a different spot or park. Finally is the progression session - I go to skate with 3 to 5 new tricks in mind. I give them all 5 to 10 good tries and if any of them feel good I will work on them. Understanding what your mind and body wants and needs out of a session can make a big difference. Sometimes you've just got to go home. I can't skate if I am angry or anxious. I dont like to compete, and some of my buddies are competitive and push me to hard. They mean the best, but that is not in my nature.
I think if you get anything out of a session, even just having fun, that can be considered progression.
Most important is to have fun.
An interesting phrase I heard is "one must learn to learn". This really stuck with me. I think this encompasses not only breaking down trick, but understanding your body and your mindset. All this I use as a guide of course. I am never going to be an amazing skater, but I feel that progression is one of the best feelings and I never want to fall out of love with skateboarding, so it is important for me to keep it fun and moving forward at my own pace.
    All the best,
    Rich in Sweden.

Number 3 is actually Gold! Been using it rn to learn kickflips, 10-15 minutes per day recording so i can go back and watch what i have to change in order to improve the next time. managed to flip the board on day 3, hope to get it soon! Keep up the good work greetings from Italy

On day 3?! That's amazing!! Took me 6 months + to learn how to kickflip. Filming yourself is a solid method too, I do that a lot👌 cheers mate!

Hi I’m new too skateboarding. Could you do a video on the anatomy of a skateboard!
I’m a climber so I’m use to avoiding falling/slips but not so often because of height. Thanks! So much!

I found if I'm trying to get better at a certain trick like a flat ground nollie flip I will try it before and after other tricks. like if I'm skating a ledge, I will nollie flip hit the ledge and nollie flip again but I use this more for consistency than to learn new tricks.

Yeee I like that idea I do the same sometimes. I find sometimes going for a much harder trick helps lock in the one you're learning too. Once I was learning front k and I decided to try flip out, I didn't get it but it helped me feel more comfortable on the front ks. Maybe coz it makes you forget about the trick a bit
