- In this episode we put the finishing touches on our property improvements for 2023.
We give the latest food plot update, plant our favorite fall food plot mix, hang tree stands, cut shooting lanes, carve out access trails to our treestands, fill the water hole, and put in our mock scrapes.

Just a thought, but generally, I dont like to put water holes on the food plot. You already have the attraction, the FOOD. But, I often put them off the plot where I might have a stand on a travel corridor with great access. Entices to come where I want them....
Anyway, just a thought, like the video, will be watching for more!

On this small property I only have 2 stand sites and the one with the waterhole has great access, that's why I put it there vs somewhere else. Every property is different so it's hard to say where to put things every time but I do think my thought process is a bit different than others I've seen on UA-cam.
I prefer to concentrate movement as much as possible and actually have fewer stand sites. Most others seem to want more stand locations on a property.
I'll explain the whole setup on Episode 8 with a map, I'm sure it'll make more sense then :)

Totally get it, I prefer putting attractions or draws not all together. I’ve already got em coming to the food, don’t need a second attraction. I’d rather use that attraction in an area that doesn’t have an existing attraction.
You are absolutely right about all properties being different, always appreciate seeing others strategies.
I have a mock within range of every stand, generally a camera on the mock.
