Tarte blushes used to be so in. Now I feel they're underrated. My blush drawer is all Tarte and The Balm. I am happy with it.
Yes! I feel like everyone used to talk about Tarte blushes, and now they're hardly ever mentioned. And The Balm is fantastic! Don't know why more people aren't talking about them.

Emily a video idea: when u saw the title of this video I thought it was more like grab and go makeup for people always on the go. Like what would you grab really quick or have in your makeup to go bag. I am working from home now but when I was going to work I had a few things in a makeup bag that I would “grab and go” 😁

I love the creativity you bring to your channel! I'd actually love to see a video where to test and use limited edition makeup stuff that you can't get anymore and maybe rediscover if they are good or if there's a creative way to get the most from them. Maybe do a poll to see which limited products people have in their collection and want to use more often.
Emily! As you were talking about the decline of the smoky eye :), I realized that I have never been super sure of what exactly makes something a smoky eye. Colors? Placement of pigment? Darkness? That blown out look? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that sometime. Thanks for another fun video today. :)
I actually wore that exact lipstick from theBalm yesterday. It has such good staying power...even under a mask! No transfer at all. I'd love to see a video that covers best smudge/transfer resistant lipsticks to wear under a mask. All summer I've basically worn clear(ish) gloss that I can wipe off before putting on a mask. And I miss color!!! That balm lippie was a great discovery yesterday. It makes me want to shop my stash in search of more!
The highbeam from Benefit was my very first highlight before I really knew what I was supposed to do with highlights. It looked so gorgeous on you! I know I have a small version of it somewhere in my highlight stash. You've inspired me to pull it out and give it a go. Hope it's not dried out! That's exactly the look I'm wanting these days when it comes to highlight. I've been on a quest for the past year to find the "perfect" one. Has the answer been there all along, just hidden in the back of my drawer?? I feel like Dorothy who had the power all along and didn't need those Ruby slippers-- or highlighters--as it were.

I don’t usually remember my dreams but when I was pregnant with my son, my dreams were so vivid! In fact it was one of the things I noticed before I even knew I was pregnant. I remember telling my husband almost daily in the week leading up to the positive test that I was having crazy vivid dreams and I didn’t know why. After the first trimester, I didn’t notice as much, probably because my sleep was awful!

I generally don't remember my dreams. Usually if I remember them it's something significant. The last one I remember is adter my 15 yr old jack Russell died a few months ago. I dreamed she snuggled up and slept next to me. It felt like a visit. It was bitter sweet. I still miss her .
I'm so geeked that you're using a Besame product. I have fallen in love with this little company. In just 6 months I have bought 11 lipsticks, a brightening powder, all 3 cake mascaras, and 3 brushes, lol. And I watch their Tuesday beauty tutorials every week with Jené and Amber. Very fun concept of the grab and go, Emily, and you cracked me up with your Squirrel mug, the ghost story... and I totally relate to the texture issue with the beauty blender!

I love seeing older eye palettes getting use! I just busted out ABH Subculture for the first time in a long time, and with the new Hourglass eye primer, it works better than it ever did. that eye lewk is EVERYTHING. I own and love that palette (and Siennas and Mauves). The Berry is my fav for fall. I just love a cranberry eye with my blue eyes. I'm craving cold weather to justify using it again haha so silly of me I know.
