  • The Denver Nuggets took back home court advantage with a 109-94 win last night over the Miami Heat in the 2023 NBA Finals. Nikola Jokić had 32 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists making him the first player to ever have a 30-20-10 Finals triple-double. Jamal Murray also had a triple-double with a game-high of 34 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to Nuggets win in Game 3.

    I actually like the Skip gave props to Christian Braun. That dude plays super hard, and very fast. He, as a rookie, was affecting an NBA finals game. What? He was popping off the screen for how hard he was playing. He kept up with Duncan Robinsons speed and at least made stuff harder on him.
    Joker is the best player in the league. They don't just have one superstar though, Jamal Murray is a superstar himself. Incredible.
    No one does it alone. Amazing series. This one was the least close, but still fun to watch. I've never seen a big man play such unselfish and complimentary team basketball while piling up so many statistics just by making necessary plays. Jokic has two shots, his regular shot that comes off the fingertips on J's and 3s, and then there is his soft paint touch shot which he shoots with his thumb and pointer finger straddling the ball. For that shot, the center of release is the area between his thumb and pointer which allows him to shoot it from any angle (hook shots, floaters). A normal shot you have to lineup your arm's release to the basket but with that paint shot he can literally shoot from any angle by flicking his wrist. Crazy.

Murray been hurt last 2 playoffs as was MPJ last year. They had no bench. Even this series they still could lose if KCP MPJ continue to shoot 20% from 3 instead of their normal 40% (they’re 5-26 so far from 3 or they’re up 3-0 if they are their normal 10-26 to 12-26 selfs!). MJ first 6 Playoffs was 24-29 in playoff games and never made a finals also. Was 0-5 vs Celtics Pistons even though he was mostly elite in playoffs. TEAMS win titles not individual players!
    If KCP MJP were their normal 10-26 to 12-26 from 3 selfs in Finals instead of horrid 5-26 Nuggets up 3-0 right now!
    Clown Skip trying to minimize how ILLmatic Jokic is. “He was pretty good in first half” 14, 12, 7 at half is not pretty good it’s GREAT! Any half that you double that gives you 28 24 14 is an awesome half. Playoff Murray is great as well! Their one of the illest duos ever!

    Less than a year ago, people were arguing if Jokic would be a future hall of famer. And I argued what 2 time MVP isn't the hall of fame? And now everyone is saying he's an all-time great. It's crazy.🙄

    • @user-rr3fo6hy9q
      @user-rr3fo6hy9q Рік тому

      MVP is a regular season award. What you do in the Playoffs and the Finals is what matters most, we don't crown anyone prematurely. If he won two league MVP's then got injured and couldn't play anymore would he be in the HOF? I don't think so but it's a good debate.

    • @KATO0914
      @KATO0914 Рік тому

      @Udanoob yes he would be. There are players who are in the hall of fame with no accolades to their name like Tracy McGrady. Hesitant known as one of the greatest players of his generation and never made it out of the 1st round of the playoffs. So Joker would be a hall of famer as well. And he's proven to be more than just that by those standards and people still questioned his greatness.

    Skip!!!!!! Shannon!!!!! When you guys are friendly......it's the best sports show out there. I blame Skip for being 10% past acceptable on many occasions. Now he's reeled it back and the show is GREAT AGAIN. YOU GUYS GO OUT FOR DINNER, DRINK A LOT OF SCOTCH, REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE TOGETHER, THEN ON COME ON BACK WITH A SUBDUED SKIP!!!!!! AND CONTINUE FOR A LONG TIME!!!!
