Nick has been dead wrong on Jokic for 3 years in a row now (“He’s the worst MVP of the last 35 years” “he’s closer to 5th/6th/7th best player in NBA then number 1” just a couple of his embarrassingly 🚮 comments he’s had) as he’s clearly been an all timer he just had injured and/or last undermanned teams in Playoffs while he was still playin AMAZING in playoffs BEFORE this year (49 games 26, 12, 6, 2stocks, 51/40/83)!
It’s a team game casual. MJ LeBron Kareem Hakeem Big O combined when they didn’t have good TEAMS around them were still amazing in playoffs and made only 2 finals (LeBron 07/18 then got swept in both finals understandably) in like 35 combined years, but Jokic was supposed to make the finals without Murray last 2 years or MPJ last year and the worst bench in NBA?!?! 26, 12, 9, 2stocks on insane 59/37/83, best analytics by far, best on/off by far!
He’s undoubtedly Top5-25 somewhere in terms of what he’s done from 20-28 years old from an individual accomplishment stand point, statistically, playoff riser, analytically, all around game.
It’s a TEAM game that’s why Jokic only had 1 WCF before 28 years old. He was still an awesome 26, 12, 6, 2stocks 52/40/82 in nearly 50 playoff games. Murray been hurt last 2 playoffs as was MPJ last year. They had no bench. Even this series they still could lose if KCP MPJ continue to shoot 20% from 3 instead of their normal 40% (they’re 5-26 so far from 3 or they’re up 3-0 if they are their normal 10-26 to 12-26 selfs!). MJ first 6 Playoffs was 24-29 in playoff games and never made a finals also. Was 0-5 vs Celtics Pistons even though he was mostly elite in playoffs. TEAMS win titles not individual players!
If KCP MJP were their normal 10-26 to 12-26 from 3 selfs in Finals instead of horrid 5-26 Nuggets up 3-0 right now! Those 2 still need to step up bc if they keep shooting that bad they can def lose 2-3 more games unless Miami super cold also from 3 which you can’t count on.
Giannis & Jokic have both had great arguments as best player in NBA the last 3 years (LeBron had argument in 19-20 and 20-21 pre Solomon Hill injury through 42 games but def not last 2 years since), Jokic just finally has a healthy/good team now around him!

Nick interjects and talks over EVERYONE! Thats crazy, as crazy as Broussard finding any pride whatsoever in finally picking the nuggets

Nick is going to ride this BS "the Nuggets can't adjust" to his grave.
He said the same thing after Denver beat the Lakers in game one of the WCF..."LA should be encouraged even in a loss, because Denver can't play defense, the the Lakers can make adjustments while Denver can't change anything" and they swept the f'ing Lakers.
Hey Nick...maybe, just maybe, the Denver coach is also a pretty good coach

@@user-qr9dn5ge1q You are full of it. Younster you never saw them play. I am old and started watching in the NBA in 62. They are more skilled today as the league was young. They flew commercial did not have the training and made very little money. Compared to today.. They had none of the advantages of the modern player. Also defense was so different and no 3 point plays. Assists were counted way different.
Once a player put the ball on the floor it was not an assist. Do not compare generations as it is impossible. All the dribbling you see today was traveling back in the day. Or palming or carying it over. You do not hear those terms anymore. Also you can travel today. They played back in the old days as the rules were written.
