@Alex M its certainly possible to find a couple people out of the thousands who say they were tricked and want to go back.
There is a phenomenon where people decide they just can't function outside of prison and just get sent back. They need the regiment, the structure that they've become accustomed to.
N. Koreans can fall into this too and just decide that now without friends and all this freedom they don't know what to do.

The split between north and south Korea was not that long ago, it's been 71 years since the split, and a lot of people in South Korea still have family in North Korea. Then they left South Korea to deal with the issues of North Korea, only for South Korea said "fuck it" and looked away from North Korea.

It's the algorithm and it's unpredictable sometimes.
UA-cam recommended it to me and I'm sure a lot of people here.

it's not youtube's fault if advertisers don't want to advertise something controversial.
Its more shocking to know that youtube doesnt demonetize or try to ban her account because youtube is known to be china's puppet. UA-cam demonetized channels such as China Uncensored because they posted real news about China.
@@no-bark2241 that's not how youtube advertising works. UA-cam decides which videos get monetization and which ones don't. Then the advertising is different for every user according to their interests. The companies only pay for their advertising to be shown but they don't choose the videos in which it'll appear.
I absolutely hate seeing people in the west being so selfish and horrible to each other and not at all appreciating just how fortunate we really are.
i agree things in America etc could be worse but lets not act like its amazing. its obviously better in the freedom aspect but in other aspects it needs a lot of work and change and that is ok.
@@enjoyyolifebabe yes there are obviously tons of thing America needs to work on as a country, we're far from perfect. It does bug me when people act like they have it so much worse here than anywhere else though, because that's just clueless and extremely ungrateful.
@@livorourke2369 yes! That’s the issue is a lot of people feel that they need to fight for other races oppression! In fact are oppressing them selves and creating a division. This unfortunately happens every election for politics gain. This is why it is important for people to travel and educate themselves.
I eat 2 meals a day and work 2x as hard as most other people in the USA.
Americans have inherited abundance they don't truly appreciate until they experience 3rd world hardships like homelessness.
Imagine how the spoiled USA brats will act when there's no food on the store shelves....
Thank you for sharing this.
Okay I found the video that explains everything. ❤ I’m so invested 😢bc my heart breaks for them 😩
Thanks for sharing your story.. this is wild 😭😭
@@YeonmiParkOfficial I love your channel, I have a question : are you Asian? Because I am asian😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

hello Yenmi! greetings from Greece! you are an example of courage and strength!!
you are so inspiring! im very happy you have the freedom you deserve. lots of love from USA
Thank u for making us realize how privileged we all are. Thank u for speaking out for the North Koreans . I pray that NK gets the freedom they deserve especially the poor kids :(
Some have no empathy: a NK guy who escaped from the camps, said that when his mother died, he was happy, because he could have her share of food.
@@user-uu5jf3jo3o that happens everywhere, there are people with no empathy in every country
*And americans over here arguing about mcdonalds* *Giving you -1 french fry*
Not anymore. America is approaching this lifestyle very fast, thanks to the left😣
@@TheRadicalConservative lol no. you guys literally have 20 million covid cases.

I love this picture!
Thank you for sharing your experience. You are so brave.
you know, america isnt perfect by any means, but hearing all this reminded me to be thankful that i'm here....
America can come almost "secondish" for me though. The amount of all kinds of crimes, corruption, unequally, poor health care and safety, ... I can't understand how, since its considered one of the "greatest" "developed" countries. People need to wake up
@@marianavvitoria for a developed country that is supposed to be the "best place ever" we definitely do suck in a lot of ways but you cant really compare a developed country to a developing country
@@FromTheStars98 That is true, I can't compare entirely and I definitely said what I said with some "emotional baggage". But I still feel like we need to put better expectations and goals to countries like USA. It's important and necessary not to accommodate just because things aren't as bad as a dictatorship country for example. Things have been rough, disappointing, and for a long time already.
I honestly wish that before I die I get to see North Koreans get their freedom
unfortunately most of them will wish to go back to the way things were - being born a slave means you won't know what to do with freedom. Their children will be better off. Their grandchildren can hope to catch up with South Korea.
Same.
@キロフアレクソBG I am pretty sure ur a north Korean living in North Korea
@キロフアレクソBG You are probably living in North Korea. The people there are treated horrible they barely get any food and they are worked to death. If they don’t agree with Kim then they get tortured. Quit trying to dictate people and let them think for themselves.
China will never let it happen :-(
