Being an Indian it's so sad that the call centers around the block when I was a kid could have been scam centers. It's so disturbing that there are so many people doing this. I live outside India and even I get scam calls, they really call everyone they can to scam.I have the utmost respect for what you do🙏, specially where you warn the people upfront. This is one of the most evil scams I have encountered. I can recall one particular scam like this, in which a scammer posing as a DEA agent somehow paged me at work (I work in a hospital). Even though I quickly caught on to his lies, it was nevertheless very stressful and upsetting. These people are truly soulless and undeserving of any kindness or diplomacy. Thank you again for doing this and giving them a taste of their own medicine.
The way ur saying it makes me suspect you DIDNT quickly catch on to their scams lmao
It took me a few minutes longer than with the typical "Amazon support" callers. They put more effort into this one. When you work in the hospital in a career where you have a lot to lose, and someone posing as the DEA contacts you about supposed federal crimes committed in your name, it is upsetting no matter how prepared you are.
@@haigminassian8640 Because the DEA would call you up, let you know what's happening and risk you getting away instead of just picking you up.
Like I said, I work at a hospital, and I was paged by the scammer while at work. Maybe I was caught off guard because I'd never been scammed via page, nor had I ever been scammed by someone posing as a DEA agent. I don't typically think about how a real, genuine DEA agent would comport him/herself, as I don't engage in activities that warrant interactions with DEA agents on a regular basis and am otherwise very preoccupied with work related matters while at work. So, yes, I was caught off guard for a brief period of time, before I was able to set my anxiety aside and think critically. Thank you for your concern though. Dude, when you pretended to be the scammer.
“Why did you just give that to me, you should be careful man…” some people are too gullible
And this is why the scamming business is still popular.
Oh man, that little medley of people swearing at the scammers was beautiful.
we need more people like you in youtube. We need people to bait the scammers, shut down their pcs with viruses and malware.
i think we all should try to be like him, waste the scammer's time as much as possible to get them crying
The amount of power you have with technology and you choose to use it for good speaks volumes, love these videos!
It would be so good to have this type of content on TV for the elderly (I know that there are news from time to time, but a regular show updating them for the type of scams). Especially if we could get one of these channels like this or Jim + a more elderly host that could translate the language to the general public, I am pretty sure it would have such a good impact... My grandmother was getting tricked into a scam few years ago but thankfully the news from the day before were about this new type of retirement scam, she remembere about the news and managed to not proceed.
One of these scammers called my mother and threatened her when she didn't give him money.
I quickly got on the phone and described to him in detail the horrors that awaited him if he tried anything and reported him to the police.
Always keep an eye out for scammers. They are the worst.
Ok buddy lol
@@khalidalali186 The name says it all. Stay mad, Khalid! 😎
Hahaha 🤣
One more time, ok buddy! Hahaha
reported him to the police??? really...
@@Gluluman Yes. Asking for people's personal info and credit information over the phone, threatening them, etc. Damn straight.
Stay mad, kid.
you know it's a scam as soon as they claim to be an officer of the social security office
Nothing so sweet like Confronting a Scammer while watching him on their own CCTV. Scambaiter you are a Genius
dude I respect you so much, i hope your parents are super proud of you.
A few years ago my wife pre-ordered an expensive Gundam for me for a christmas gift. If it wasn't for channels like yours we would have been out almost $400. One of these chanels actually showed the site we ordered from. As soon as I recognized it we called paypal immediately and reported the scam. Withing 15 min we had our money back. After that we contacted our bank and changed account and card numbers. 2 days later we got a phone call from the scammers trying to convince us to re order with a discount code. We told them give us a minute. After a few he was getting irritated and asked what was taking so long. I replied back that the FBI we contacted wanted us to wait so they could trace the call and would be arriving shortly. Instantly hung up.
So keep doing the good work. I know you can't save everyone and you can't stop these losers permanently. But those you can save love you.
This is at least the second scam robocall I have heard where the scammers decided it would be a good idea to give the ROBOT VOICE a name. WTF man?
It stuns me how many people are still willing to answer unfamiliar numbers. I haven't answered an unknown number on my phone since the late 90s! Even back then, the frequency of robocalls and scam calls was pretty crazy and people complained about it constantly. I can't help but wonder if these people somehow lived in a bubble for the past 25 years or so, or maybe they just have some weird compulsion to always answer incoming calls because they simply can't resist finding out who is on the other end.
I absolutely LOVED the method you used on that intercepted call! Absolutely GENIUS! Shock value for the potential victim. Perfection. "Why did you just give me that information? You should NEVER do that!" And the guy's response was exactly what it should have been: a nervous chuckle after being called out, probably masking the moment he needed to switch gears in his brain and think about what was just said and what he had done, then acknowledging that you were right and he had done something incredibly stupid and dangerous just because a random stranger called him up and asked him to.
Fantastic video as always!
Couldn’t have worded it better myself!
This is my favorite video so far. I've been called many names by these guys, which amuses me, but I am so happy to see what you are doing. My Mother has been scammed by these d-bags,l and I'm happy to see the generosity of those of you who have the time and energy and knowledge to do something about it. Cheers, man.
I got a call with the exact voicemail and when he couldn’t get anything and wasted 30 mins of his time,he started going off and cussing. 😂
I LOVE the voicemail encouraging people to waste scammer’s time!
GOD BLESS YOU for what you do! You are a Hero!
They tried scamming my grandmother two days ago(she didn't fall for it) and I just want to say thank you for taking the time to stop scams like this one you are awesome
I used to get alot of "Amazon" or "BT internet" calls, what I did was just play along and waste their time and slowly I started to make my answers more ridiculous and eventually they clocked on that they were being played along, and they always said "why did you press 1 then? £&!$¢^¥! So I know it really gets on their nerves when you waste their time
It really does annoy and demotivate them!
@@Scambaiter keep up the good work 👍
My favorite past time!! I love when they call me... I've developed a great script lol. I usually keep them on the phone for 45 minutes before they check on.
I would do this but I’m so afraid of them tracking me😭😭😂😩
you should scam them back and give the moneys to some of the victims😂, Merry Christmas Sir
Merry Christmas! 🎄
Sadly they not going to fall for it since the scammers know a lot of ways to scam
