I suggest using nylon paracord size 550 instead of cotton wick. The cotton can rot, the nylon paracord won't. In addition, the nylon is self-priming in the event the water reservoir goes dry. The cotton wick might not be receptive to water uptake without extra manipulation.
Those earrings are so cute! I'm in the process of trying to rescue a discount philodendron golden crocodile here and it's making me want to try other philodendrons. I've gotten really attached to its one long leaf 😂 But normally I'm a hoya or kalanchoe kind of person
I’ve been on a strap leaf craze. I got an anthurium palidiforum and I fell in love. I want a wendlingeri so bad. I’ve been eyeing one and may just go for it ❤
I literally stared at a wendlingeri yesterday and was so tempted to get it. I'm not at the strap leaf craze yet but I fear when it finally hits me, I wont be able to find them. *sighs* Hope you find out soon.
I have a few wish list Hoya. New Guinea Ghost or Nova or Mint Coin lol something very silver. Multiflora. Burmanica. Retusa maybe. Linieris maybe. Caudata Sumatra-I saw a picture of one that looked black with purply silver splash OMG
One more anthurium that i want is the silver blush or doriyaki. Some plants on my wishlist are alocasia silver dragon and melo. Also want the frydek variegated. And the gold powder aglaonema. I also want that dinnerplate hoya. I love big leaf plants. And the wilbur graves hoya. And also the blue star fern. I just think those plants are so beautiful.
Hi Stephanie. I love your videos and your plants are stunning. A lot of your Hoyas are on my wish list however I need more space 😊 Maybe you already have on but is it possible to have a video on how you feed your Hoya in PON? Thank you in advance
Thank you :-) Honestly, I do not have a special treatment for my hoya in pon. No nutrient solutions etc. They get the Root farm 2 part fertilizer that I use on just my hoya and the orchid spray. Nothing special. Let me know if you have other questions :-) Happy growing!
I’m taking a break watching your vid, found 3 types of pests… I just did a full treatment 1.5 months ago for the fall reset… sigh, my collection takes 3 days to properly treat, clean pots and stands, may as well do floors and windows.. etc. thanks for the chill entertainment!! May as well reorganize the plants that no longer fit where they were cause my newer fertilizer has been explosive.. gotta love GT Foliage focus! Have you heard that the Hoya vines grow counter clockwise in nature? If you want leaves filling in on the bare spots we need to wind it counter clockwise too? Do you get your Pon from lechuza? Or make your own? They never seem to have stock when I check so I’ve got the recipe for when I’m ready And love Mollys succulent mix, I make my own chunky aroid mix but the succulent mix is the bomb I’m definitely not actively looking for new plants right now, got the rule of getting rid of equal amounts that I bring in, my grail list is sooo long but our local nursery is so good about bringing in rares on occasion for great pricing, I’m willing to wait, on my list includes the gigantium blizzard, Philo red Congo variegated, red moon, orange princess, more plants with a caudex, more euphorbia etc
Awww. Sounds like you did a thorough clean today. Hopefully that takes care of them. Thanks for letting me join you😊 I’ve heard amazing things about this Folige Focus. Maybe I can give it a try someday. I have heard about wrapping Hoya vines counter clockwise. I specifically did NOT do it one time and there was no difference in growth 🤷🏽♀️ My Pon is from Lechuza. I got it on Amazon earlier this year. I haven’t purchased more since. I only use it for my Alocasia and some Hoya.
Would love to venture out to different species so I can learn and enjoy those genuses as well. Would love more carnivorous plants in my collection as well as some different hybrids of anthuriums. youdon’tevengrowhere’s channel would help you, I feel she has such different looking anthuriums on her shelves it always looks gorgeous!! Also a variegated thanksgiving cactus since wildfern influenced me🫣

Yes, I’ve heard that nylon is a better material for wicks. I’ve been looking for reels of them. Great tip! 🪴
My wishlist is a whole book. lol
I’ll read it! 📖🤓
That type of self watering pot is my absolute favorite! They’re the only ones I use now.
Seriously, there’s no going back. Seeing roots it’s so satisfying and reassuring.
Plants 🪴 👍🏽
Thank you! 😊🪴

You've got great taste! I love those choices. I wouldn't mind a Caudata Sumatra, just waiting for prices to come down a bit.
