Android still has a small advantage because you can upgrade to a newer Android version with a custom rom. My old Galaxy Note 2 is very limited on apps on the stock Kitkat rom but on android 7.1 it can still play UA-cam videos and use modern apps too. It loads slower but it is usable

I got an iPhone SE (2016) a while ago and it works surprisingly well and I love it. Some apps can't be downloaded but otherwise it feels great to scroll socials and runs them real well. Battery doesn't completely suck either
@@DelevarOfficial so you still have the original battery ? Wow that’s awesome. I’m sure the lag can be frustrating but no one can deny it’s amazing to know the iPhone 6 is still in use nowadays!
I still use my first gen SE. Replaced the battery a month ago and it sped the phone up. It is not as fast as my 12 but it is a lot faster than the 5s on it's last iOS version.
Old iPhones can be better suited as an iPod. It still has headphone ports and apple music is still usable with old versions. And iPhones with old music app can be synced with apple music in mac and iDevices in windows.
I used to have an iPhone 5 when I was 10. It had no mobile data, only WiFi back in the day. And I also used to play on my grandfather's Galaxy S7 when I was 8 years old in 2016.
You'd actually want to get an iPhone 6 at least. The 5/5S/5C do not support VoLTE, so most carriers won't let you use services on those devices, and calls will not work.
You can get VoLTE on an iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5S does have the hardware for VoLTE, but for some stupid reason Apple ended up disabling VoLTE, however you can get around the block by jailbreaking.
The iPhone SE 2016 still receives security updates and costs little more than the obsolete iPhones with the same screen. The best iPhone SE to buy is the best supported iPhone to buy is the iPhone SE 2020 because it costs no more than the much slower iPhone 8.
with the galaxy s7 i used to use an s7 edge a few months ago and i can say its slow but every app still work but the re are like a tiny bit that isnt running in the latest version but still works fine and instagram works on the latest vertion even thow it says android 9 and u can install older vertions of apps by apks from google
Still have s5 mini with android 5 instead 6. Google did Google play dropped support on Lolipop android but there still possible way to sideload it. Highly recommneded to archive older version of Programs, which will be later not available on most sites anymore.

Dude i have the android phone which is 4 years old. Time flies fast. I still think its new coz i bought in 2020 like it feels year old just but na hahaha. Its been 4 years i am rocking it. I have aim to use it couple years more coz i dont do gaming on it much so other work i do easily on it. I have one more android which i dont use its 12-13 year old name gioneep3. Its so old and outdated i think it will not run latest app too. Mb of ram probably not enough to handle modern apps for it. I love android its budget long last and i have good experience with them
As a person who still uses a ipad from 2012 (3rd gen), i can say its good to use as a low budget device if you dont mind the outdated apps and charger
Fr it runs good on Minecraft still if you turn graphics down and it can run discord if you don't join a lot of servers and chat a lot people
iOS?
I downgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 8 and I couldn't be happier. It's very fast. I don't use it as my main device tho lol.
Sound a bit unnecessary considering you can get a newer iPad for less than $200 or even $100 that’ll be a way better experience.
depends where you live@@Terminal_Apotos

The 6s, SE 2016 & 7 are the oldest iphones that runs well. Anything that is older than that no longer supports a lot of apps.
Should I get a 6s? I like it's build quality and size for its price, it's features are good too
