Bought this projector for my 90 year old mother's birthday. She has sight problems and struggles with normal TV. After watching it she said "her world had opened up again". So happy with it that the rest of the family are now thinking of investing in one too. Only thing I am struggling with is connecting our Samsung TV and Virgin Box, but I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
I bought this but I am having issues with audio/video sync. I connected it with new google tv and while watching video on Netflix, UA-cam it Amazon prime, my video is slower than the audio. I am using a Bluetooth sound bar
Nice review ,the most enjoyable until now . I'm gonna grab one but I have one question tho im wondering if it will project nice if I ll set it from left at 20 ° angle at 2.8 m distance? Thank you
8000 lumens would be very bright without washed out colors even in a well lit room. This looks like its probably around a thousand lumens and no more as we see the dull picture with washed out colors at around 7:35 into the video.
I had bought 3 vemvo clones of this and they only last about 6 months before you get a yellow dot on the screens, Im wondering if this one does it as well as it looks the same.
I’ve had this projector for about a week now. Really great picture when you get it focused and centered. which is a pain also the fan is wicked loud, kind of distracting during quieter movie scenes
I just got mine in and used it today. Here I spent 1200 on a 4k tv and this thing gives it a run for it's money. This is by far my favorite purchase. I have it around 100' and it looks crystal clear and that's without a screen. I don't know if a screen will make it better I just thought screens were for when you don't have a flat surface. I'm impressed with this projector. I also ordered a db power but I sent it back. It wasn't even close to looking as good as this one.
Yes indeed, you should have no problems at all. If you go into “setup” and scroll along to Bluetooth - Once their you can search and connect to your desired speaker! 👌
Great review! Do you know what the screen size would be at 2.5m away (about 8.2ft)? At 9.5ft you noted it was both 85 and 90 inches at different parts of the video, was this with different zoom levels?
Hi Chris, thanks for watching! So the different screen sizes was just because of the film/movie files aspect ratio, I cant remember them precisely but one was slightly larger than the other! Sorry for the misunderstanding! As for 8.2ft away I think you would get approximately around 70-80 inches of display size. Just under 80 inches I would say. I would test it for you but dont have this anymore to try it! For the price though its still my favorite projector out of all the ones I have reviewed. Hope that helps!
Got mine today as i had a cheap 1 and colors were washed out everything reset and adusted setting to my tase but upon watching a video from laptop to big screen video is dark so i dont have any idea whats going on with it as it looks fine on laptop screen do u think it could be my hdmi lead causing the problem ??
That’s an odd one, and I’m unsure of the fix. It should still be bright no matter what it is connected to. Maybe the colours could be off do to laptop settings but not the brightness. I take it you have adjusted settings on both the laptop and the projector? The HDMI cable could be a possibility like you said but if you can’t fix it then I would request a replacement. Pain in the back side I know but you want to enjoy your home cinema experience and not watch a dull screen! Apologies I couldn’t be more helpful! Hope you get it resolved!
I can’t quite remember and I don’t have the engraver anymore but I’m sure it was something simple. Can you drag the photo across into the software/engraving area? (Presuming you are on windows, open the folder with the picture in and then just drag it across) Or is there an option to upload/add/import picture?
I purchased this device for my son’s room. My meter reads that this is a 300 lumens projector. That’s why you see a washed-out picture is sunlight. I compared it to my Optoma UHD-38 (4000 Lumens) which blows this thing away. I also compared it with my LG HF80LA (2000 Lumens) Laser Projector which also displays a brighter picture. It’s best uses is with lights off and you should be okay if you don’t mind the fan noises.
Has anyone who's tried this projector had focus problems? My center is crystal clear, but the closer to the left and right sides I get, the blurrier it gets. I was wondering if mine was defective.
Ha ha! Id say for a premium projector with digital sound then the M2 wins but for those with a slightly lower budget then defo the Artlii Energon 2! 👌👌👌
Hello, very useful video. I am having issues connecting iphone 12 pro with this projector via bluetooth (they are both on same wifi). Any thoughts on why that might be?
Is there any way you could test the fan noise with a decibel meter? They have free sound meter apps for this. I understand if you don't. that's asking a lot. There's another UA-camr climbing that the fan noise is under 30 decibels. I do not believe him. the quieter ones in this category are at least 40 decibels. If its 30 or below I would buy one today
@@deeteepeafore Right then so i downloaded a free DB/Noise metre app for the iphone called DB metre. I need your help UA-cam, i just got the projector and i cannot figure out how to remove the two extra small « screens » in the left top corner...Wher are the settings for that? Help would be very appreciated...
Now then Sharon! Hope you are well! So technically....I suppose it would....but it does depend on what outputs are on the dvd drive. Does it have a VGA or HDMI output? If it only has a USB slot then im sorry to say I doubt it would! :-(
I don't think it would be really compatible, a usb dvd drive is just a drive, it doesn't have the capacity in itself of decoding a video dvd, when you plug it on your computer, the computer is doing all the decoding. At best, the video projector could access the dvd drive as if it was a external hard drive, and be able to decode mp4 (h264 or divx) files that would be on it (if it's a dvd that you burned yourself) and may be (but i don't think so) it could be able to decode the files inside the architecture of a commercial video dvd.... but you would not have the menus, the chapters, or anything that makes a dvd easy to use, and also, the movie could be split between several files. If you want to read dvd on this, either you have to plug a dvd player (with it's own decoding circuit), or you have to plug your computer with your usb dvd drive plugged onto the computer. I see that this can be interfaced with a PC. I need a projector that I can mount to the ceiling so that I can project Microsoft PowerPoint, etc. I just don't want the added expense and trouble of running the cables. Does the Bluetooth feature allow me to connect wirelessly in this manner?
Yeah a few people have mentioned this so not sure what to believe! I know when I published the video the specifications where correct as they are checked and double checked before release. Maybe they have released an updated model? No idea to be honest, but I will say this is still my favourite projector considering the price and the quality of the picture! 👌 Sorry I couldn’t be more specific with your question though!
@@mcphoney You still think it's worth buying? Its competitors are roughly £100 cheaper for the same specifications. Is there a reason for this particular model being higher priced? I don't mind paying the extra so long as it's worth it. Cheers
Which competitors have you been looking at if you don’t mind me asking? As for this projector (Artlii Energon 2) basically it’s the quality of the picture, the brightness and low fan noise that I think are superior than most of the projectors I have tried. The only one that was better is the Viewsonic M2 but that is 3x the price!

Ryan, You won't regret this choice. My daughter bought me one - and she knows I'm keen on good definition on screen because of failing eyesight. Great visually for movies and home video; guess it will be more than acceptable for textual presentations.
Hi there, well ive just checked the web, the Artlii website, Amazon listings, amazon reviews, the manual and even set up the projector and gone through the options but cannot find the answer as to wether its Bluetooth V5.0. Personally I think it would be 4.0. Not sure why - that's just a hunch! Other reviews have said they've experienced no lag/problems with the bluetooth connection if thats any help! You also asked about another projector, the Vamvo L6200 and tbh I think they are the same projector - just differently branded! Hope that helps in some way!
MCPHONEY Yes that really helps as it confirms exactly what I was thinking. I had also seen some similar projectors which had Bluetooth 4.1 built in so my best guess is around 4 - 4.2. I’m sure if it was v5 they would have advertised this. Thanks for looking though and trying to find out. Much appreciated! 👍🏼
martin rosemond Hi there, sorry about the late reply! Can I just confirm, are you trying to operate your Firestick whilst it’s plugged into the projector with the Firestick remote? Is that what you mean?
Are you connecting to the Artlii device first? On your iOS device go to Settings>WiFi and an Artlii name should appear. Once connected to that you can then open up screen mirroring (on your device) and it should show up and allow you to connect.👌
I have both the projector and my iPad on the same WiFi network. On the Projector I selected IOS Mirror. Then on the iPad I enable Screen Sharing and select the Projector (Artlii....). Once that is done try different apps on the iPad, safari, UA-cam, amazon prime etc. Depending on how new your iPad is you will or will not be able to see Netflix. Hope this helps.

Ryan, You won't regret this choice. My daughter bought me one - and she knows I'm keen on good definition on screen because of failing eyesight.
Great visually for movies and home video; guess it will be more than acceptable for textual presentations.
Does this work on a sound bar and also is this Bluetooth????
Is it Bluetooth 5.0 version? I can’t find anywhere in specs?
MCPHONEY I found out from Artlii that it’s Bluetooth v4.0 so your hunch was right 👍🏼
Can someone tell me what ceiling mount would work for this projector
Umboxing del artlli enjoy 3
I have one.. and it works beautifully .. I love it..
Is it work with 220 volts?
Can i connect my fire stick remote control to this projector?
I’m not too sure on that one..I doubt it tbh.
You can connect your Firestick though!
@@mcphoney my fire stick is connected to it. I'm trying the remote it's not connecting
martin rosemond Hi there, sorry about the late reply!
Can I just confirm, are you trying to operate your Firestick whilst it’s plugged into the projector with the Firestick remote? Is that what you mean?
Is it celing mountable
I have IOS and can not connect it
Are you connecting to the Artlii device first?
On your iOS device go to
Settings>WiFi and an Artlii name should appear.
Has anyone used this outside?
I ordered one yesterday
I get it this Thursday
I am so excited !!
Hi.. Have you used it outside? Thanks
@@chriscoady6440 yea, I had it facing the garage and it was huge!
@@Doodfrumspace11 ok cool.. Have you tried it in daylight?
@@chriscoady6440 yeah, it’s still visible but not as pretty as in the dark
Hi I just got mine today for Father's Day. Using a Roku plus neither Netflix or Disney + movies work at all! What I mean is, the picture is there but no sound comes through the projector only for shows. Can you help? Any problems or suggestions?
Thanks mate 👍👍👍
Have you ever reviewed the Artlii Enjoy 2 ?
Unfortunately not, looks like a good projector but never got the chance to do a video on it I’m afraid!
@@mcphoney ok

Have you gone through the settings > projection etc?
@@mcphoney I've done everything I can mess with on it I finally had to take off my regular projector holder from the ceiling and build a shelf from the ceiling but the picture is good

Loved the review, I have been looking for a good projector at a reasonable price.
Just bought this to replace my TV, I have always wanted a projector, after seeing various reviews they all mention different lux levels some 7000, 8000 and 10000.
It looks like noone is sure about the lux levels
What is the hrz rate it has to be 50/60 hrz or it's no good
Artlii do state it as 60hz, hope that’s helps! 👌
Hey there, great video. Can you confirm if this projector is native 60hz? Is it 60fps smooth motion or standard juddering 24-30fps ? Thanks
Hi there, thanks for the compliment! Unfortunately it doesnt state anywhere in the instructions or online about the refresh rate but on amazon.com someone has asked a similar question and Artlii themselves have replied with "1080p @ 60htz"
Hope that helps!
60hz not htz sorry!
yes its 60 fps.Its smooth for games.
