The Explorer 3 has the best sound and Lumens and picture range and quality. It does not have bluetooth, that's the only thing the Artlii has better.
Hi = good to see a capable review. i have had many projectors and know a good review when i see one. im not too sure the keystone appears to offer much, so a stand is probably preferable. did not notice any controls for altering the image quality, colour, contrast etc. is that feature available via the remote control? thanks
Yes that option is on screen while there is a display. The menu button brings it up.

So, the native resolution is 1920x1080p, BUT it is able to upscale 4k content? I dont quite get it, is it possible to connect a PS4 and play in 4k?
No it downscales 4K to 1080p.
hey , i heard the yg620 model had peoblems with the edges being blur. are the edges in focus in this model? and also can we adjust rgb settings? the whole picture seems to give out a bluish tint. and also did u experience any lag in gaming???
The edges are fine when viewed within range, as you move further away about 10 -12 feet it get's a bit blured as expected according to their recommend viewing distance. You have full control over your colors when you press the menu button after you select a source. However there was a slight lag in sound during gaming when connected to Bluetooth audio.

Can you play a football game using iPhone mirroring like a game on Att tv app? I tried to mirror but only the sound comes out and type screen just show it’s connected but nothing more what could be wrong
The Bluetooth feature is for audio only not video.
When will native 4k budget projectors come out and play too?

That is not "audio passthrough" seen in the video. That is a simple Bluetooth connection from projector to receiver. The receiver must have Bluetooth feature. Even if you connect it in passthrough configuration using an HDMI cable the projector does not output digital surround sound formats.

I need help! I am having HUGE problems with sound delay when using my soundbar via bluetooth, like alot. Why is this? Could it be because the soundbar has not the same bluetooth version as the projector? If so how do I know what version the projector is using?
Also, I do not get any ound at all when using chrome cast to watch disney+...
Surround sound or Atmos cannot be transmitted over Bluetooth "yet" due to bandwidth issue. It is better to pair the sound bar to your streaming device and not the projector in case there is a version or latency issue. if you playing media directly on the projector via a flash drive then It's recommend to use Bluetooth audio. I believe the reason you hare having issue with this is because you are trying to achieve surround sound over Bluetooth that is going to run into compression issues.

Le récepteur est Sony, les haut-parleurs sont d'anciens haut-parleurs inutilisés. J'ai coupé les fils et l'ai connecté au récepteur. Pas d'enceintes surround officielles. Mais ça sonne bien pour la démonstration.

@@Asap_joser what it means is that if you have a 4K video on external storage, it is supposed to play the video internally via USB. However during my review it cannot play any 4K videos internally. At the end of the day this is a 1080p projector, forget that 4K nonsense

Este proyector no tiene HDMI CEC que cuando le conecte el Amazon Fire Stick apagará el proyector.

Funny, I found two exactly the same looking projectors, same specs but with different brand name and just half the price...
Yep the Chinese don't patent products, so models are like open source.
I declare that I am not an expert in video projection and therefore I do not have a lot of benchmarks.
My judgment is therefore mainly based on my few personal skills and impressions.
But the quality is really on the verge of mediocrity.
To begin with: attempting to change the brightness and contrast results in immediate and noticeable degradation of the image.
Both should therefore be set to "50" and never be touched again, to avoid loss of color information and detail in highlights.
We then realize that the sharpness value of the images is too high: the texts and outlines of the figures are "reinforced" by a black thickness which serves to give the impression of greater detail.
Therefore, if you want to get a "clean" image, the sharpness should be reduced to at least 20.
The result is a low contrast flat image with a bluish cast.
As long as it is particularly compressed content (like any Netflix movie) or without too much shades of dark colors (like cartoons), the quality is more than acceptable.
But some color tones simply cannot be reproduced by this VP.
"The Last of Us 2", full of blacks and shades of gray, looks like a giant dark spot.
And besides, but it was surely my mistake, there is no optical zoom, only digital.
Which is practically unnecessary.
Indeed, even by scaling the size of the image towards zero, the projected area obviously remains the same.
Consequently, the more you decrease the zoom value, the more the resolution of the image decreases.
Likewise keystone correction is unnecessary: as soon as you touch it, the upper and lower extremities become extremely blurry. The only way to take advantage of the (already low) definition of the projector is to place it perpendicular to a wall, at the appropriate height, and never move it again.
Rather sturdy and difficult to use focus ring.
Discreet audio: The projector is quite noisy, but the audio covers enough hum. Nothing fancy, but still usable.
If the colorimetry and contrast were slightly better, and the definition worthy of full HD, I wouldn't have anything to say.
But seeing high definition content that looks like 540p on this projector really hurts. Despite the low price.
The only really positive thing I can say: excellent input lag and bluethoot functions!
P.S: Don't be fooled by tests that use 4K images to check image quality. It is not with those that should be tested.

The Xiaomi Mijia is a quite good DLP budget projector (350€) in native 1080p with HDR and (in the European version) Android OS. I also read good stuff about the XGIMI.

And considered that for 100€ extra, you can buy a good low budget projector as the Xiaomi (that is in fact a good toy) I think that we can definitely say that Artlii and co. are a waste of time and money.
