Understand that we care a lot about Lily, she already struggled with her mental health and being cheated on is just devastating, which is why her community was mad? If Lily is happy, you guys shouldn’t hold anymore grudge. Welcome back, Albert.

As much as I want to dislike this man I can't. I just Can't. He regrets what he did to such an extent that it STILL effects him, nearly two and a half years later. He is witty, somber, and somehow, seeing as I personally, outside of the music aspect of my life, am nothing like him, he is relatable. He has clearly put so much time and effort into a video that doesn't ask for forgiveness and that doesn't try to reason with the viewer, that simply tells the story of someone who flew too high too fast. Of someone who didn't take into account the mental fatigue of the lifestyle he chose. His story of wanting to be better is reflected in his recent social media posts and his clear desire for self improvement is something I can honestly say that I wish I possess.. This is a content creator that I will be happily picking up again in this new year, after a long two and a half year hiatus.

This isn’t an apology video. A lot of people in the comments are completely misconstruing the message of this video. The consensus wasn’t to shame “cancel culture” but to disprove the notion that people don’t change. Aside from the toxic side of it, cancel culture condemns your mistakes and doesn’t let you hide from it. He took this year, and he changed. Not just for everyone’s sake, but himself, too. This wasn’t an apology video, it was his reintroduction and even though most people don’t like what he’s done, we should celebrate the change. Mistakes don’t define us, not if we work towards bettering ourselves.

It's sad seeing someone slowly become not as happy as they were before, the bright smile is not there anymore, his words, at some point, felt so painful. However, I'm kinda happy that he decide to make himself better, that takes a lot of courage and effort because most people would say sorry but still do the same thing over and over. Saying sorry is easy, but changing yourself to not make the same mistake is far more difficult. So Albert, I just want to say that you're not perfect but it's okay, everybody makes mistakes but I applaud you for being strong and being brave. Just imagine if you were on the internet your whole life and suddenly it all just turns on you for some reason, how isolating it would feel. I get that what Albert did was wrong, but both sides have agreed to move on, and so should everyone else.

What impresses me the most about this-even more so than the quality of the video-is the level of self-reflection and honesty that he has taken on himself. I understand a lot of where he's coming from and the reason that he has now decided to talk to a therapist about his problems. The fact that he wanted people to like him and wanted validation from others but simultaneously had zero regard for the love he had for himself makes sense to me, and I don't think it's too hard after that to see how it could lead to him deciding to cheat even while knowing how wrong it is. Sometimes people chase the wrong ideals and suffer through them and end up letting the overwhelming pain get the better of them; sometimes it's hard to see what it is you're really doing to yourself. To be honest, the fact that he has realized this so well and has accepted it completely makes me respect him more than I respect most people that I ever see. This kind of self-honesty is hard and painful, but he may be handling this situation better than I have ever dealt with my own uncomfortable truths if I think about it. The people who make mistakes and know they are capable of them but still make the right choices afterwards have far more of my respect than the ones who think they are a good person because they've never done anything wrong and think they are incapable of doing anything wrong. Albert is a guy who has made a tragic mistake and understandably so, yet he has reflected on himself and is changing for the better. It can't get any better than that.
I don't even watch him, but I'm just impressed at what he's saying here. This is infinitely better than a simple apology; an apology was necessary, and everyone expected it, but changing for the better isn't necessary, and no one asked him to-if anything, some people basically tried to rip him apart. And yet, he's doing just that. I genuinely hope I can see this man smile again one day, and especially smile for himself.

Just because he committed a mistake, that doesn't mean that there's no good left in him.
Him and Lily gave us good memories, actually fun contents that we've seen them doing together.
He made a mistake, he chose to cheat, made the dumbest decision that he knows could potentially destroy him and his career.
But I think this man is willing to change for the better. Lily has accepted him and forgave him, so let's forgive him as Lily knows him better than we do.
Lily and the entire OTV members knows Albert is a good and kind-hearted guy, but that one mistake dominated all the good that he did and people instantly thinks that he's ruthless.

Honestly this video is a masterpiece, what you did was wrong, However you went through a lot... pain, suffering, depression. But you are a intelectual person, you realize what was wrong with you, and tried to make a change, you work really REALLY HARD, maybe thinking if you worked that hard you might get the slightly chance of being forgiven and putting all those emotions you had in a single video is truly amazing. Albert i really never liked nor hated you I just knew you because of all of this drama. Im no one to say if you should be forgiven or not. But i truly hope some people forgives you. Thanks for making this video, people made mistakes A LOT, everyone watching this video had atleast made one mistake. People usually think their entires lifes are over when they fuck up and most of them just gave up... But this video had shown us that people can change. CHANGE CAN BE MADE, everyone can change if effort and deep thinking is made, I really think this video will help a lot of people too, so even if you fucked up and no one forgives you, you've already made a lot of good thanks to this video. Everyone makes mistakes and the important thing is that Albert is willing to change and is changing and Lily has forgiven and moved on.

Yes. It's like having a younger or older sibling. You love them to bits but one day they mess up real bad. But regardless of whatever they do no matter how good or bad you find it in your heart to love them and forgive. That's how we should treat Albert and any other human being. That doesn't mean whatever they did was not bad. It's a matter of moving forward.
On a side note, this is why I don't like the idea of being a public figure because people can judge you and focus on your past mistakes rather than seeing who they are now. I hate that. Period. If you were a student who really sucked at school and failed to meet its standards but one day you change for the better. Imagine people attacking you for who you used to be. Bad at school. That's disgusting and irrational. You are no longer that person so why should they judge for someone you are not. Too many public figures experience this and it's extremely sad what they go through.

The effort put into this is insane. Every shot is tied to the story Albert's telling, there is no excess talk about what already happened. He can't do anything more than admiting his mistakes and saying sorry, and he's aware of that, allowing him to try and better himself and not dwell on the past. The internet isn't forgiving, so it won't be easy, but I really wanna see how this story unfolds.

Hey Albert, you probably don't remember but you allowed me to use your cover of warriors for my own video all the way back in 2014. I still know you as a musician and since I lost interest in doing youtube I also lost track of you and your channel. So imagine my surprise when I randomly found out what happend in all this time. I don't realy know what happend exactly, I briefly looked it over but after all it doesn't matter. You've cleary grown and you have an amazing talent not only as a musician but also as a filmmaker. Both professions I aspire myself. I have the highest respect for you and want to thank you again for beeing so kind in the past. I wish you all the best for the future :)

As someone who has made regrettable and irreversible mistakes in my life, hearing your perspective of your own mistakes really gives me some hope for myself. Thank you for sharing this.
Also side note, to anyone who leaves a negative comment, imagine if the world judged your entire existence and worth based off of the worst thing you’ve done. All of the good you’ve done and any attempts to redeem yourself from that mistake are outright rejected by hundreds of thousands of strangers. Not saying that the wrong you did was justified, but most people would say that it it doesn’t define who they are. Try to think of that before writing anything negative.

For real honestly, I liked this one quote Albert said in the video "But that mistakes aren't what ultimately defines you, it's what you do after you make them."

So you've noticed the lilies and Liberty Hill. But in case you've missed it, at 1:41 that looks like the lego statue of Liberty Albert built a few years ago with Lily.
When I saw that, I felt a mix of sadness, nostalgia and awe. A lot of thought was put into this video.

You were the first person who really gave life to the phrase, "Your mistake doesn't define you." So kudos to you sir and your path of redemption. I'm rooting for you.

It's not our place to demand an apology if we weren't directly involved. No one can deny that he fucked up horribly. No one can predict what will happen in the future. Maybe he'll change for the better, maybe he'll screw up again, who knows for sure? No one does. However, Albert is admitting to his horrible choices. It's clear from his recent streams on Twitch that he's trying to change, and I respect his effort. If you're publicly shaming him even after he's trying to change, then you're discouraging him becoming a better person. Frankly, that's just low and pathetic. Even if Lily hasn't forgiven him in public, that doesn't mean she hasn't forgiven him in private. She even said that they are on good terms now(go search it up, there are clips). Albert has already apologized, so why should he have to again for the sake of the internet? And honestly, telling someone to end their life for cheating isn't funny, nor is it okay. We've already seen from the Reckful situation how our words affect others on social media, even if those words are meant as a joke. The least we can do, in my opinion, is judge what he does after his horrible choices, not before. It hasn't been too long and people are already saying "oh, you cheated on lily, don't come back." People change, and Albert is trying to prove that. Anyway, good luck, and looking forward to your music.

It's high quality equipment and precious time spent editing wasted on something pretty boring and cliché. Pretty to look at, but dressing up some time spent alone and picking up a few hobbies as some spectacular event of character development? Yawn...
Also saying that having post-breakup blues is the same as depression? C'mon, buddy. Even having the motivation to pick up a hobby, much less than what's required to STICK to it, that's not depression. Disappointed with the NPCs in this comment section, truly. Never dabbled at the extremes of their own mind and it shows.
