I'm all for continued builds. It's always good to watch a rig come together and every video gives people a chance to potentially pick up a new pointer. If you give away the PC -- or have a genuine use for it -- I believe it's perfectly fine. There's a big difference between adding to a cosmetic wall of PCs and pursuing a passion/fulfilling a purpose.
I like it how you show all of us how to best prepare and let us follow those steps instead off skipping them and just showing us the final result, so thank you! Can't wait for part 2!
I really appreciate your thoughtful design process: safer transport, and perhaps easier maintenance with the soft tubing and water was especially considerate for the eventual owner.
something like this would just be a blessing at this point. every time i get the extra money for a build prices either go up even higher or i have some kind of insane thing to pay out
It's nice to see a 011 mini, usually you see the regular one in the majority of builds lately. Both really pretty, this one is a little bit more original. Nice to see a new build Paul
Even as a person waiting for parts, this is fun to watch. Get to live vicariously and keep refreshed on build ideas and practices! Keep up the great work :)
Love the build videos. For me it’s more about how you configure the parts than it is about the parts in them. Some lucky person is gunna have this beauty on their desk!
I watch your videos because i like seeing people work with hardware i can't justify for myself. Keep going. I didn't build a Water cooled 1080ti computer, just the same as I won't build a 3090 rig. Doesn't matter, it's good to watch.
Those uni fans are such a perfect combination of form and function. Thanks for the chance to win this Paul, I hope this charity stream sets a new bar. As each of the past streams have done.
This was nice to watch, reminiscent of the good old days. Really liked the detailed look at the case, very smart engineering, achieving that many configuration options are no easy task, a lot of work went into the design. Black sleeves with red braiding would look great!
That blank side of the pump mount is a perfect spot for a small LED screen to play some animation or display system info :D Or even putting some plate there that credits you as the builder, or the charity logo
i love building personal computers , i feel more excited until i finish updating its components after it boots , thats why i love pc building videos and your channel is one of my favorite tech channels
Although I can't buy what I need Paul, I don't mind watching builds. Ever think about restoring old systems of your subscribers? Those are always great to watch. 😁
Just finished my watercooling build and am using the EKWB AMD cpu block u used. Its a really nice looking piece. Went with their EVGA 3070 FTW3 gpu block. All their stuff is excellent quality n finish.
Paul you are an epic legend, you too Joe! I always enjoy seeing your PC builds, have continued watching since I built my PC 4 years ago, love seeing the tech and the content you make with it, Thank you for keeping them coming!
I personally would love to see more in-depth guide on the water cooling part. Once I finally get to build a PC myself I plan to do water cooling with it.
Paul, for the cables, It would look really nice if you did a Red, White and Black cable combo somehow. Either way you go, this build is already looking amazing! keep up the good work.
You should take a look at the MDPC-X Liquid IR on white wire, the red sleeving would highlight the accent color and the white undertone from the wire would carry through the main build color.
I don't know if it was mentioned but a black/red/grey color scheme would work for the custom cables. I could imaging a black/grey/red/grey/black color flow for the 24 pin cable connector, I hope you like that suggestion Paul. Plus glad Joe is back at the "office".
Red is certainly a nice colour for the cables, but I can't help thinking you'd want a mix of red and maybe a deep yellow, with a few black and white wires, and maybe even one green one and, for spice, a blue wire or two. And maybe wrap them in some sort of see-through black mesh or something. (/s, in case anyone missed it.)
I am transferring my system into this case, but the all-white snow edition. My only hangup was my 360mm AIO that won't fit at the top with a full ATX board (without modding it somehow). But today I finally found a white 280mm AIO from Germany called the Alpenfohn glacial water. I couldn't find a white 280 available in the US anywhere. Now I can fill this thing out perfectly with fans only at the top and bottom with the 280mm AIO at the side, I cant wait to build it!
Ten pounds in a five pound container, but not in a bad way. I've got 2 360mm rads in my case, but that took a 5000d airflow case.... I'm impressed you got it all in there. Looking forward to seeing the finished build.
This machine is going to look SOOOOO good! Can't wait to see it completed. Others have said it, keep doing build, just make them interesting like this.
I would paint the pump/res mount silver or white so you don't have all that black showing from the front. As for the cables, I would do red in the center and then gradually fade from grey to white working out from the center. It would be a little more work for the guy doing the cables but the end result would look pretty cool. Get a double 8pin bridged PCI-E connector cable. Silver cable combs to match the silver accents on the fans and the loop.
Love the attention to detail with caution about staining the loop for the future owner. Nice work! Definitely think there should be some red accents in the custom cables.
Sick build! Love all your videos and can’t wait to see this one finished. I think your cables need to be red and silver. Would be kinda cool to see those colors braided together but maybe not depending on the lighting within the build. Also love your forward thinking with using regular water instead of the red to give the winner the option. You are a stand up guy!!!! Lastly, thanks for all your videos. They helped me last year to put together my first build with my son.
I just did a hard line build in this case with the EK front plate. I do like the CPU block included in the kit you have and wish they sold it separately. Love your videos Paul.
Loving the build so far- you da man, Paul!! Can’t wait to see part 2. Before I decided to hold off on a new build until prices and availability becomes more reasonable, I was considering this case because of its modularity; never thought to free up the real estate in the front by downsizing physical dimensions and relocating the power supply! Genius! It’s got me reinvigorated thinking about moving forward with a stopgap build around the 5700g when that drops in august complete with over the top cooling at the ready and an abundance of led lighting to display the void that would be the gpu! LOL Lastly, on the custom cable extensions, I’m envisioning white on the 6 top and bottom outer lanes with a combo of black, red, light gray(or silver) in the middle, favoring gray or silver. Cheers!
Awesome build, not sure but I feel like swapping the waterpump/reservoir to the top where the fan is and bringing the fan down will give you a better looking setup. Also, I think that red/black/silver cables or red/black/white cables will look awesome in that build!

Paul! Put that res in the back and add a different fan to that 240 rad.!

Happy to see some build back. Yes the shortage is a pain, doesn't mean we cannot at least drool on nice looking builds, while being built.
