Sorry but I just couldn't put that frankenstien GPU block anywhere near my custom loop. Oh and everything that Corsair want to charge 1k for, Aquasuite gives so much more info for so much less.
Ran into some of the same issues. Particularly the input and outputs of radiators and the cable locations for fans makes you really think about how you are going to connect everything. Takes the ease of use of these products and throws them down the drain.
Best video that shows the honest opinion of the new ICUE system, it works but it does have some kinks in the system that need to be worked out. Hopefully the price eventually goes down, but thats where the price comes from is the research and development of the new product.
This is something I’ve been looking for. Everyone talks about the Aio and the daisy chain fans. No one has talked about the custom loop and water cooling side of this
My new PC build it seems connecting rx fans directly to qx fans results to not detecting the rx fans. Not sure because I'm using the qx hub. The rx fans runs but without rgb. Edit: needs and update from the ocue software and now wokrs
Yeah I'm kind of getting sick of Corsair prices getting through the roof but I guess you can blame public traded companies for that because they're beholden to shareholders and they always need to make their stock and profits go up this is why you're seeing everything at high prices in its own individual packages
Brother doesn't the corsair 7000 case have 4 usb 3 ports and not usb 2 up front? And it's not have usb 2 so why you need your motherboard usb 2 header for front panel please reply
very neat idea but the price... like custom watercooling wasn't expensive enough. I have one older system that is watercooled, but I won't watercool my newer system because of how expensive it has become. I seriously consider getting those Chinese components when I will upgrade my older system and I will need newer blocks maybe change the case and get new radiators.
I tried the Link system. But I hate having programs running that cause performance drops. The Link program drops Cinebench score by like 500 points. Its not alot, but in my eyes its too much. LOL
ive been using corsair stuff for about 10 years now, but tbh i would not buy these products as they are just way over priced imho. i feel right now these company's just rip off pc gamers/pc uses in general, all i see in this new i link system is you must spend more money on our products which is only going to force some people to never buy there products at all.
If you have the money i feel like the fans are totally worth the price for looks and installation ease, also the software is amazing and always works perfectly for me
i considerd to them in my new build ,thy look cool, you can set them up realy quick, no cable nightmare, buuuut nearly 400,-Euro no way far too expencive,
i agree corsair water cooling is not great i like xd7 and the cpu blocks but the compatability is bad also the fact they make them to not work alongside other brands i have thousands in corsair products i hate the xd5 (owned two threw in bin last month both still worked but were shabby )they are poor terrible cheap feeling and not reliable its thermaltake d5 pumps that are great and last for years dont get it twisted corsair now own fanatec so expect the quality fanatec products to start feeling cheap
Yep the only weak point of the Corsair’s products is price. Maybe in future they diverse there production line to workout kinder budget option. Any way these all stuff looks great and it is comfortable.
Wow at 250watt of cpu TDP this corsair water block cant even handle 13700…just wonder why 8th gen asetek pump can perform much better than custom water loop 😅
I hate icue software uses too much resources, my pc idles at around 130 watts doing nothing without icue with icue running it idles at 250+ watts, that don't seem like much but it eats into my power bill and keeps the voltage on the threadripper up around 1.4 I even tried to underclock it to keep the power down I regret buying the corsair ram.
Great video … I agree with all of the critiques and no other reviewers have mentioned any of them.
jayztwocents has mentioned them.

You could use an usb header splitter to conect the lcd waterblock and the other components.
Yup. Or use something like the NZXT internal USB hub and it gives about 4-5 more USB headers in the computer for anything else you want to run.
USB splitters don't always work in those setups. I've learned it the hard way with aquacomputer leak shield setup.
Corsair should be embarrassed by how ugly that GPU cooler is. Why the hell would it not cover the whole GPU?
They just care about money
Could you even imagine? There are people who like this GPU cooler.
This gpu cooler doesn't even cool the vrms
@@TheBlueBunnyKen yes it does has channels on side for air from the fan
@@aaronsomler9423 reviewers weren't very happy with it's cooling
So we remove our existing wiring mess to add another one with 3x the cost, thanks I won’t do it after all 😂
Prettier wires and connected differently too. And you get internal USB-C ports and cables, which is always more better.
It’s like you didn’t watch the video at all lmao
Did you even watch the video duummm

at ekwb similar with gpu block and 2 radiators also minimum 1k
aqua who?

Great to see an honest video about it!
how loud are those fans

Just FYI if you plugged the plug in first then the fitting you could have plugged it in
or extend the fitting with an extender, but hey, content creators need to make content haha

Gday old mate 👋🏼🇦🇺🍻
that hub went into power saving mode and dimmed rgb lights due to power draw on my aio with 6 fans think i maxed it out

Those reservoirs are super nice looking - Didn't expect they were also Corsair.
Corsair also sells an Icue link splitter hub for 20 bucks adding 4 more spots
How much was the total (incl Hardware/Cooling) And what GPU is that
Great review!!! your review really helped me!!! thanks 🥳
Hey I want to know what pump reservoir are you using in this build it seems it’s not the Corsair one
wait u mean full Corsair loop is now more expensive than an EK one? 😂
personally I would with aquacomputer controller & sensors

how much did it cost? as watercooling and fans
I showed it in the video

Ah, so sorry for the inconvenience
@@a_c1104the entire Icue system was 1k 😭😭💀
Have you looked into the Aquasuite environment?
Loads of abilities but little info on UA-cam
Can confirm. Most watercooling people I talk to have moved into that ecosystem. Its far, far cheaper and works much, much better.
It supports LGA 2011-v3 socket, X99 Motherboard 😢?
Thanks for the video. I am convinced that this product is not for me
I always have an air bubble in my system. Someone knows how to get the air out
Outrageously expensive. That's what Corsair has become. Though that doesn't mean you get your money's worth.
How much did this cost?

Solid video... It sounds to me like Corsair is trying to just rip everyone off.
They are
6 products per channel AIO with LCD and 3 fans will fill up 1 channel as the LCD screen counts as 2 devices.
from now corsair added cable in single fan , and you can ask cable for free from corsair if u didn't get it before.
Thanks for this!!
Thank you for making my mind up for me.....I may still use their fittings however....since there was no issue with those lol

I would never feel OK with leaving fan screws out, I get peace of mind knowing I'm not harming my fans

If Corsair cut their prices in half this would be able to actually compete in the water cooling market🙄
If you have the money i feel like the fans are totally worth the price for looks and installation ease, also the software is amazing and always works perfectly for me

Some Corsair products are priced OK, but most of them are extremely expensive for no reason. I personally avoid Corsair anything.
the icue link is included with fans thats $50-60 on its own
Really interesting
My whole was 2000, bro spent half of that on fans

really? you haven't heard of pcie cards, with internal headers? or the NZXT INTERNAL USB HUB? Sys Builder.....
Sure lets just go spend even more money =/
It seems really expensive for no good reason.

Welcome to corsair
I didn't have to know the rest after I heard it's price but hearing the rest assured this product sucked very bad for the price they want.
Welp, that gpu cooler ruined the whole build.. It also had terrible reviews since it doesn't cool the gpu vrms
if you need water cooling loop i think you need at least 1000 dollar more to pay
🤑
Way more, custom water loop is so expensive due to buying each fitting, cpu/gpu water block, reservoirs, etc
this basically boils down to money.
They make an adaptor to turn one port into 4? Yea they at $20, but you're doing to much...
Cables are incuded... even one piece in every fan, you buy seperately
Yep they changed it, because people bitched about it
now 12 per channel 24 total
I bought that new cooler cos I like new things. Cant use it
China already copied those fans for $30/3x 120mm fans😂
Corsair is Scientology of pc parts.
corsair should stick to ram and cases, their water cooling stuff is junk, use aqua computer octo for your system
Ram's not great either, mostly low end smasung or micron with mixed bins
its too expensive while theres more other brand way more cheaper to build
I prefer older Corsair fans.
So, why waste your time. Go with the proven Aquacomputer system.
I hate anything that uses proprietary shit😒
No body tell u how bad is icue software .... its full of bugs and doesnt work, do small research and u will find many issues abd bugs with it
