Absolutely it is. I did a take off starting like that in a Cessna 185. Not very smart... but hey, youth has no fear. Look out for my Advanced Taxiing tutorial coming up soon,
Man oh man, new to this and taxiing (and takeoff) is crazy difficult. The yaw seems huge, pedal response really spongey (“oops, yawing, apply some pedal…still yawing, apply some more…hmm controls not doing anything, apply a bit mo- ARGH TOO MUCH” >crash.
On the Yak you don’t have independent wheel brake. You have to bind the (brake) key somewhere on your stick. It will make a little pneumatic air noise when you use them

So glad I found your channel. Thank you for the tutorials.
Are you still watching and flying, Paul?
Wow. Did not realize you could raise tail without moving forward! Good brakes! Starting at 1:15. Wonder if it’s possible in real world?!

Taxiing is much simpler if you have your flight controls set up properly: Try this: ua-cam.com/video/eiaw9m-nEek/v-deo.html
Thank you so much! This is so hard to figure out and do correctly though :'(
Rodina, how are you progressing?
I will post an Advanced Taxiing video in May.

The 109 is finniky use brakes for left and right and keep the right rudder on for the most part. . Try the 110 or IL2.
are there lights for the wheel brakes to know if your using them, because i was just in a yak and im sure there was nothing to tell me

Thanks eh; my inability to taxi has limited my playing this sim; sadly
Try the BF110 or IL2 they are docile and more forgiving.
@@colninny8769 More about locking and unlocking the tail wheel regarding taxiing eh :)
