100%. And these new honda engines are even blowing head gaskets in STOCK form. I'm from NY where street racers pull 300hp out of them all motor and 500hp boosted all day on the stock engine and never heard of people blowing head gaskets on them. Not saying they won't blow if pushed but these new ones are blowing bone stock in people's dailys.
@@FirstnameLastname-pe5ibthe 1.5L maybe. The k20c1 in the type r has zero problems. There’s one making 712whp on the stock bottom end Hundreds of them are in the 500-600whp range on stock trans, clutch, engine and are dailied with zero problems
I’m basically running this set up with an A2 head but I never got the chance to get it tuned and now I have a supercharger so it’s cool to see what it would’ve made
@@thebeastqc299 dc sports 4-2-1 but I believe when installing any K24 into an Rsx you might have the exhaust hit the swaybar because the engine sits higher

have you ever had issues running the 72mm KTuned TB with the Hondata Flashpro? When I inquired about the TB KTuned said they recommend using a standalone ecu if I wanna run the TB cause with a flashed OEM ecu it can have issues... Since you tune a lot of K20/24's, have you seen issues with this? you mentioned there are headers out there that will make more power than the KTuned, are you talking the megadollar headers like ASP and similar? or is there a mere mortal priced header that perform better? I was under the impression that all $400ish (USD sorry don't know Canadian pricing) were all copies of the KTuned...?
I see you mentioned the DC 2.2 cams, are those worth it over the DC DICs? I browsed through your videos and hadn't really seen you talk about those two at the same time.

My friend in his 9th gen FG4 runs this exact setup making 250whp on E85. Had a pretty good race against my 222whp DC5 RSX.

Thanks Nick, 202 hp with our 9th gen from your tuning Hondata, exhaust/CAI/Downpipe. Next step is head swap RBC manifold and cams.

It's great to see another tuning video! Seems like a lot of work to get the Z3 head on the Z7 block. It would be easier to swap a K24A engine?
Crank sensors between the RBB motors and the R40 motors are incompatible. It would be alot more work.
