Interesting that he was already lowering the key of this to save his voice all the way back in '96. I saw he did the same with Cherub Rock from this same show. It's a shame that he lost his vocal range much earlier than most prominent singers. Most artists start doing that in their 40s, 50, 60s, etc. Some never do it.
Gish and Siamese Dream were mostly standard tuning or drop d. Mellon Collie was mostly half step down and half step down drop d. So the reason for the lower tuning here could be that they just didn't want to bother changing guitars or tunings much for the songs of different eras.
青鬼TV青鬼TV actually 90s have their own crap with pop music and yes music these days that got mainstream and radio are always crappy pop rap or edm piece of shit at least the movies in this decade are awesome though
Its a typical thing which lots of people say. But you must consider that smashing pumpkins werent "pop music" in the 90s .... some kind of eurodance, some cheap-made hiphop, that was pop music like pitbull, will i am, etc..... Still today great music exists with much dedication like this. And the true music-fans know that, and know the bands who make it.
@@filippopepitoni8892 Edgy songs done beautifully. They both complain a lot. Disarm was banned for lyrics on BBC, echo of Smiths Suffer the Children song about the child graveyard in the moors
I can listen to this over and over and never get tired.
Such sad lyrics. Deep. Gorgeous. Timeless.
when they ruled the world
Did you just combine two top comments?
What a beautifully appropriate comment.
So much passion. They sound amazing.

Music of my youth. I grew up on the Pumpkins from age 12 and I'm gonna be 38 this month.
No phones, no streaming, no stupid selfies. Just people enjoying the music
if cell phones had existed back then they would probably be recording and taking selfies my friend
what is so bad about wanted to capture an amazing memory
I know, the world feels like some bad dystopian movie now..
Shake that fist, old timer
Perfect. The bitterness of one who's left alone 😢😭❤️

If you look at older Siamese Dream Era live shows he was screaming instead of singing a lot. He always had a different vibe live than on the albums
25-05-23 listening for the 1000 time

epic
WOW😯
This song is a cure in itself, bittersweet cure. 💫
(I've always had that weird attraction to Billy's teeth, can't explain)
Deeply
El último verano que fui feliz.
One thing Gen X got right is the music. The Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pear Jam, The Cranberries and on and on and on. Gen X rocks.
Did anyone ask him, what he was thinking about during this performance?
Billy was writing Adore at this time
that drummer though
Jimmy Chamberlin he's called.
This sounds like how the song should feel :-P
i remember seeing this on pbs on some show that also showed the cure and other bands at that time. does anyone know what that show was called?
I saw it on a show called "On Tour"
I ain’t armed sweet heart
The smashing pumpkins real was here
To wither in denial
Es la bajista original?
Yep
Wow... rare to see no autotune.
Almost an Irish folk version
This sounds like the Cranberries’s Zombie same chord progression
It is. But disarm came out before zombie
A masterpiece - Corrigan is Morrissey 2.0
Why this match? Great both
