      Sheba but it is something in biblical scripture about him lusting after the king of Egypt's daughter and he did anything he could to have her the Ethiopian mess is made up there's nothing in the book of jubilees Maccabees or jasher or any of the Lost books they came up with that just because she came from afar to hear his wisdom

    I believe the ark of covenant is somewhere in Ethiopia because of one clue. It has never been conquered. That’s the perks of ark tho. An army who possessed the ark could never been beaten.

    • @leronealijackson7458
      @leronealijackson7458 3 роки тому +1

      That's not 100% totally true though. It was only when the Israelite's actions were pleasing to God that he gave them his protection. But if the Israelite people, who were the custodians of the Ark of the Covenant got it twisted in God's eyes, God would allow the Ark to be captured, as was such the case when the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant from Israelite possession. The Bible clearly states this. Bless!!!!
      1 Samuel 5:1 ► King James Bible "1. And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod."

    • @leronealijackson7458
      @leronealijackson7458 3 роки тому +3

      I liked your comment by the way. And yes true fact Ethiopia has never been conquered and colonized as much of the rest of Africa was. Italy under Benito Mussolini occupied a portion of Ethiopia from 1936-1941and claimed that Italy defeated Ethiopia & that Ethiopia was Italy's colony. But they did not defeat the entire Ethiopian Empire, they were still fighting and eventually England provided the needed assistance to rid Ethiopia of the Italians. During the period of Italian occupation of Ethiopia Emperor Haile Selassie I fought at the head if his army for as long as possible. But as defeat seemed inevitable, the Emperor's cabinet advised him to go into exile and start a legal battle at the League of Nations. So he and his family lived in exile in Bath England while going to Geneva to protest the unprovoked Italian invasion of Ethiopia. After Ethiopian & British forces liberated Ethiopia, the Emperor was welcomed back to his Imperial throne.

    I loved that! What an awesome review of Ethiopia! I have always been interested in history but in America, the public schools do not teach any sort of black history at all. I am a pasty shade of white, but even when I asked “Who was MLK?” All they told me was “He was a civil rights activist”. Not knowing what Civil Rights were, that pretty much shut me down right there. Also, the picture that we commonly see as the white Jesus is actually Cesar Borgia, a French nobleman. Aloha and Alsalam Alaykom.

    Thanks for a great effort at presenting Ethiopian history especially that of Emperor Haile Selassie 1.
    You have a few mistakes concerning His names and titles.
    He was born Tafari Makonnen Woldemikael on July 23rd 1892 and baptized as Haile Selassie, though He would not use that name officially until His coronation.
    The word "Lij" was a title of rank, as also the word "Ras" which is equivalent to a Duke.
    When He was crowned Regent, His title was then "Negus" or King.
    When He was crowned Emperor in 1930, He was known as Janhoi ( His Majesty)
    Germawi (Lord) Qedamawi (First) Haile ( Might) Selassie (The Trinity).
    He was put under House arrest by the Derg rebels in 1974 and disappeared in July 1975, just around the 23rd, His birthday.
    There is no evidence that His body was ever found or identified for burial.
    It is not known whose body is in the tomb at the cathedral and for Rastafari as I am
    it is purely a ceremonial memorial and He lives and reigns forever in Mt Zion.

    Regarding time in Ethiopia there is no AM or PM. There is only daylight and night time.
    When the sun rises it is 1 o'clock and when it disappears and gets dark it is 12 o'clock. Which means the day is divided into 12 hours of sunshine and 12 hours of night. 7 am is 1 at sunrise and 7pm is 1 at sunset and the night begins!

    It's a shame so many African Americans are Protestant. Protestants basically threw away over 1000 years of Christian tradition and history, including the Desert Fathers. One notable Desert Father was Saint Moses the Black, an Ethiopian. He was a slave to an Egyptian official, but was "fired" when it was discovered that he'd been stealing from the guy for years. After that, Moses joined a small bandit group and eventually became the leader of a bandit gang. At some point while fleeing from the authorities, he took refuge with some monks in the middle of the desert. He stayed with them and eventually became a revered monk.
    Sometime around the year 405 AD, the monks caught wind that a group of Berber raiders was going to attack the monastery. Moses told his fellow brothers to leave, and when they begged him to come with him, he told them "all who take up the sword shall perish by the sword." He thought it was a fitting death for someone like him, who had been a murderer and a thief. He was killed at the age of 75, along with six monks who stayed by his side. The monastery was rebuilt after the Berbers destroyed it, and today is known as the Paromeos Monastery (or the Monastery of Al-Baramus).
    Also, I feel like I should give a shout out to the Civilization video games. One of the playable leaders in Civ 5 is Haile Selassie, and in Civ 6 you can play as Menelik II.

    🇪🇷🇩🇯🇪🇹🇸🇴The Horn Africans are strong people with their own history. Don't try to call us Arab mixed, like this ugly guy in this video down below. Lately Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea are being attacked by some black people (on Twitter and other social media platforms) like the link below, calling them not Africans. And that's not even the half of it, the guy really swears at the Horn African countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea. I've never seen someone that hates the Horn Africans like this guy. He dedicates 1 hour of his life to swearing at the Horn, the shocking part is the hatred he is displaying to fellow Africans. In one of his videos he is wearing a durag ( The guy has 2 UA-cam channels as far as I am aware).
    🇪🇹King Menelik wore a classy durag🇪🇹
    Why is it black people copy Ethiopia so much then attack them on UA-cam, social media etc? Leave the Horn Africans alone‼

    Somalia accepted Islam before the Arabs. And Ethiopia welcomed the refugees from Makkah. The Horn is so intertwined with Islam and the East. Somalia accepting Islam meant they can't do what their next door neighbours can, creating Eunuchs. While Islamic law forbade the emasculation of a man, Ethiopian Christians had no such compunctions; thus, they enslaved and emasculated members of territories to the south and sold the resulting eunuchs to the Ottoman Porte. ... The eunuch boys were then sold in the Ottoman Empire. Slavery in the Ottoman Empire - Wikipedia - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_the_Ottoman_Empire

    The first migration took place in the fifth year of the Proclamation - in A.D. 615.
    The king of Abyssinia welcomed the Muslim refugees from Makkah into his kingdom. He gave them sanctuary, and they enjoyed peace, security and freedom of worship under his aegis. About a year later, the Muslims in Abyssinia heard rumors that the Quraysh in Makkah had accepted Islam.
    If it was true then there was no reason for them to live in exile. They were homesick, and they decided to return to Makkah. But when they arrived in Makkah, they found out that not only the rumors they had heard were false, but also that the Quraysh had stepped up the persecution of the Muslims.

    Let me tell you about the Year of the Elephant. Abraha al-Ashram an Ethiopian guy. Learn your deen guys. So you can argue from the deen side as well. This guy is so strong that the Arab pagans couldn't do anything that God himself had to interfere and save the Kabah.
    The above-mentioned episode happened in his youth. Now we come to the most important event of his life which took place just eight years before his death. By then, he was the patriarch of the tribe.
    The Ethiopian governor of Yemen, Abraha al-Ashram, envied the reverence in which the Ka'bah was held by the Arabs. Being a staunch Christian, he built a big cathedral in Sanaa (the capital of Yemen) and ordered the Arabs to go there for pilgrimage instead. The order was ignored. Not only that; someone entered the cathedral and made it unclean. The wrath of Abraha knew no bounds. In his fury, he decided to avenge it by demolishing and desecrating the Ka'bah itself. He advanced with a large army towards Mecca. There were many elephants in his army; he himself rode a huge elephant. It was an animal which the Arabs had not seen before...read the link.

    Horn Africans (Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea) are proud people. We have our own history and yes we even clashed each other, and clashed other countries. And by clash, I mean wars; I come with receipts ladies and gentlemen: The Ottoman-Portuguese conflicts of 1538 to 1559 were a series of armed military encounters between the Portuguese Empire, the Kingdom of Hormuz and the Ethiopian Empire against the Ottoman Empire and Adal Sultanate, in the Indian Ocean, the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea and in East Africa. This is a period of battles in The Ottoman-Portuguese War.

    Aksumite currency was coinage produced and used within the Kingdom of Aksum (or Axum) centered in present-day Eritrea and Ethiopia. Its mintages were issued and circulated from the reign of King Endubis around AD 270 until it began its decline in the first half of the 7th century. During the succeeding medieval period, Mogadishu currency, minted by the Sultanate of Mogadishu, was the most widely circulated currency in the Horn of Africa.
    en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aksumite_currency
    The Horn Africans started trending on social media when people found out that they are listed in the "Caucasian Race", whatever that means. Caucasian became White due to some American old man, that's why Caucasian is synonymous with White. I'm not making this stuff up, click the link below: The Caucasian race (also Caucasoid[1] or Europid)[2] is a grouping of human beings historically regarded as a biological taxon, which, depending on which of the historical race classifications is used, has usually included ancient and modern populations from Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.
