I bought When the Moon Hatched solely because of you!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
yay!!
I enjoyed the book A Fate Inked in Blood with the dynamic set up and Norse mythology. Not sure why ppl are rating it low as it has an interesting world building and characters. Look forward to the next book in the series.
I rated it 4.5! I enjoyed it a lot!
I enjoyed it but the story seemed a little plagiarised from the Netflix series Valhalla
Karina Halle has a Norse fantasy romance standalone coming out in July of this year called The Runes of Ruin that I’m pretty excited about.
It seems to me the author's idea is that the story will get better as well as the series goes on?
Thanks dear I am going to read this one but was doubtful after the reviews
Aaah more books to add to my TBR! 🦋
Oh no! Disappointed by Fate Inked in Blood 🙃👀 I’m so excited to read it but now I’m nervous
I read When the Moon Hatched based on your recommendation and I’m so glad I did. I loved it so much. New favourite for sure!
Love all your book recs! 🦋
I love your book reviews so much! Excited to read When the Moon Hatched even more now! 🦋🌻
I loved A Fate Inked in Blood and just bought when the moon hatched!!! So exciting!
🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I started reading when the moon hatched because of you! When reave chopped that guys hands off I was hooked 😂
This could not have been more perfect timing!!!!
🫶🏻🩷
Because of you I just went to buy When the Moon Hatched and saw that Waterstones have an exclusive edition with sprayed edges coming out in June so I had to pre-order that one! Can’t wait to read it 😊
I think this is the first video I’ve watched of yours where I’ve loved a book you didn’t particularly care for. But I really like how you always explain why you didn’t like (or liked!) a certain book so people can make their own decisions on if they want to read it or not.
I personally *loved* the road of bones, it was a totally unexpected 5* read for me! The first half of the book I could see why people thought it was slow / took some time to get into but the last half really picked up for me. I can totally see why some people wouldn’t like it though, just given some of the “twists” (I use quotes because I’m sure some people could see certain things coming, but I was at least a little surprised).
I have Razorblade Tears on my TBR and am looking forward to reading it! I love fantasy romance but I’m almost listening to a thriller in conjunction with whatever I’m physically reading. If you like SA Cosby I think you’d also like Karin Slaughter- she also does a really good job of character development and telling an artfully written story while also weaving in the “thriller” aspect of the book!
So happy you enjoyed Razorblade Tears. It is one of my favourite thrillers! 🦋
A Fate Inked in Blood was a disappointment for me too! It seemed promising in the beginning, but fell flat for me towards the end. Very predictable. It was a 3 star read for me as well, but hoping book 2 is more promising.
Totally agreed about A Fake Inked in Blood. Personally, it dragged so much that I gave it 2 stars. Sooo excited about the Moon that Hatched, got it on your rec. :)
Raeve is the first character that has made me feel a little of what aelin makes me feel. 🦋
I’m reading “When the Moon Hatched” right now. It’s so beautiful. There’s a special edition hardcover coming out. It has stenciled page edges. I haven’t seen what they look like yet, but I preordered it.
🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 love your videos!
🦋 just got my copy of When The Moon Hatched....my April TBR is stacked 😂😬😁
I finished reading Twisted Games by Ana Huang in March and I really enjoyed it now I can’t wait to read the next one in the series 🦋😊🦋🩷🦋
twisted games is so good!!
I was also super disappointed in A Fate Inked in Blood. I’m sorry you were too but I’m glad I’m not alone! 🦋🦋🦋
If you ever pick up Heartless Hunter, I would be so intrigued as to what you think!
You should read the second book after Road of Bones, that was much better. I usually am on the same page as you, and I think you’d really like book 2.
I love your collection of books
I would like to know is the Court of Thorns and Roses series are worth reading? Cause the only series I read from Sarah J Maas is the Throne of Glass series and they're my favorite book series
🦋
Amazing video as always. I have no idea when I'm going to read A fate inked in blood because I still haven't read the Bridge kingdom series, but I'm very excited to read When the moon hatched. Hopefully I'll get to it this month or in May.
Excited to give When the Moon Hatched a second chance, I hope I love it 😬
Aww sad day, I loved Road of Bones!
Can’t wait to get to the Lady of Darkness series this month!
Razorblade tears is such a good thriller! I’m glad you liked it 😊
🦋🦋🦋
Totally agree about fate inked in blood but I think the ending was good and left me wanting to read the next one. Felt very conflicted bc the middle should have been interesting but it was so boring.
I read When the Moon Hatched to get out of a reading slump.... I finished it and now I'm back in a reading slump D:
I loved a fate an inked in blood
🦋butterfly!
Same over here. I read 11 but it was just an okay month. I felt the same way about a fate inked in blood. I was like this is going to be sooo good. Nope. I quit reading at 75% I just didn’t connect.
North Queen was such a let down for me too!! honestly felt like the book was spilt in 2…. the main characters personality fully changed & pulled me out of the story completely 🫠 something must have been in the air in March because I had such an awful reading month, everything was so bad…. so naturally i started another reread of Throne of Glass & I’m back on cloud 9 🤭🦋
eeeeep i need to read KOA and then im starting over again at the beginning for reread # 4 😂
@@ravenhairedreader oh KOA needs to immediately be added to the May tbr, you must start this journey again 😭😭😭 it’s always nice to go back to the series just to feel things… horrible things, but things nonetheless 😭
Here's what I read 🦋
Happily ever after by Lynn painter
The sporty one by melanie c memoir
Elektra by Jennifer saint
The glass castle by Jeannette walls memoir
The girl in the eagle's talons by karin Smirnoff book 7 in the millennium series
You again by kate goldbeck
Chain gang all stars by nana Kwame adjei brenyah

🦋🦋🦋🦋
I felt the same way as you about Done and Dusted (a great time, 4 stars - and book 2 was even better - you should read it next )
I was also disappointed in A Fate Inked in Blood … I think I just need to wait until you review a fanro before I pick it up because I read a bunch of the same ones as you and also gave them mediocre reviews 😂
Nice March Wrap Up

💜
🦋🦋 that thriller sounded 🔥. If you read Phoenix Unbound by Grace Draven I would like to know your thoughts.😊
🦋🦋❤❤❤
Even I didn't like Road of Bones
S. A. Cosby is amazing
agreed! 🩷
Nicola Tyche's last name is pronounced Ty-Kee! :)
thank you!
I wonder if any of the things you didn’t like about The Road of Bones are going to be changed now that it’s gotten picked up by a publisher ? 🤔
