I did not finish the Mortal Instruments series and I read the Last Hours series after the Infernal devices. No need to wait to finish the MI series. Also would you consider doing a readathon of some of the books you didn’t read in 2023?
I'm reading them in chronological order, so I've only read the Infernal Devices & The Last hours trilogies! I'm nervous to start Mortal Instruments because I've heard they aren't as good.. lol 😅
Hey Rachel, I highly recommend reading Song of Achilles. It was one of the first books I read when I got back into reading last year, and it's still one of my all-time favorites. I know Greek mythology seems a little bit intimidating but, Madeline Miller is an amazing writer and I promise you'll love it!

The Simple Wild gripped me completely. I read the entire series in a few days and went down a whole aviation rabbit hole afterwards. And spent hours on Zillow looking for homes in Alaska 😂😂😂 I still think about those characters and Alaska to this day.

You can read chain of gold (the last hours) after the infernal devices. You really only need to read that before going in.

Don't be intimidated by Anna Karenina. Its not that complex, its just long. But It reads fast in some ways. It's so good.
